stratton
show me some facts how frost has messed them about `??? In January none of them as far as i know have deals sorted? Andersen,Batchelor,Iversen, Bjerre,Why? My point is if all of them don't get sorted are Peterborough worried if they make a living in England or not. They should be as business sense you would at least expect a loan fee (better than nothing) wouldn't you.? Iversen unless he rides for Lynn he won't ride in the EL, why would he ride for Peterborough they showed near zero faith in his ability. How can pro speedway riders be sorted out in say late January be geared up and ready to perform? BuzzCagney
Ward has signed for Swindon. Darren Ward for Swindon FC Lets hope he is as entertaining and tenacious as his namesake down in Dorset is.
hagonshocker
Darren Ward is nothing if not tenacious....no probably not an applicable term for a 34yr old....lets say biting......been a major difference COYR...sorry forgot this a speedway forum! ) Yep I remember Simon Stead was treated wonderfully last year. Also, if what you say is true, why did batch leave Swindon for Peterborough in the first place? Basically because he spat his dummy out after Zagar replaced him due to injury....we fixed him up once fit with Ipswich as we couldnt fit him back in with Matej and Leigh leading us to (as shovvy would say) 'league winners'.....from memory he was saying all the right things about returning the following season but went against it for his reasons which seemingly looked rather petulant and vindictive but I guess Patch let bygones become exactly that and allowed Rosco to re-sign him.....hope he's back with Hans....barring that we could always use Miedzinski on his more realistic 8 point average...... Steve0
no he can't, unless some other club buys him and loans him to swindon Yes he can - he has only ridden one season with us. Where does it say that you have to purchase a rider for a second season. The fact that he won't be the Panthers #1 also suggests that Peterborough won't use him - so why should Swindon (or any other team) buy him?? Woz01
No they didn't - that was Ben Barker (apparently) as he wanted to ride for a third season and an undiscovered "rule" was unearthed It has come out today that Iversen can join KL on loan while Swindon have to buy Batchelor, it should be the other way round in my opinion. Also says that the BSPA ruled that KL had to buy Schlein as they illegelly tapped him up aswell. Peterborough have turned down offers for Andersen also.
