With at least 3 of those wishing to double up then maybe Alden to make it four. Not overly keen on bringing back riders like Pavlic who have let us down in the past, even if they are on low averages. Already dreading the winter, roll on the new team being announced and it being next March!!! Be great if most stayed, if not i would pick Batch,P.K, Jason,Steady,Alden all depends on what happens. Just a few permutations based on 42.5 Hans 8.18 Peter 6.98 Jason 6.50 d/u Simon 5.75 Nick 5.78 d/u Seb 4.82 Zengi 5.57 Frank 4.58 Robin 3.86 Total 41.45 If you replace Hans with Troy the Total is 41.21 If you keep Hans and Troy and not Zengi then Frank will not fit as the Total is 38.24 which leaves 4.26 Until it is known which riders want to d/u and with which PL teams, the d/u riders choice is difficult. Not sure about Schlein personally although i guess i should give him the benefit of the doubt that he has grown up after the 'episode' at Brandon in the 2007 final. There is a bit of a love-hate relationship that still exists with the Swindon fans as well. Incidentally, it is a year now since the Robins management pulled the plug on the Swindon forum, anyone know why, and if there is any chance of the phoenix rising from the ashes? Craig Cook has made it known he's on the market and at 5.52 I would imagine there must be a few interested parties. More than likely he will end up at Poole though... Yeah probably being 'poached'as we speak! Hasn't ridden the 'blue groove' well in the past mind Yerropes. Did pretty well at Blunsdon though. Exactly riders will go where they feel, ala Miedzinski, Nick has said he's likely to be a ROBIN next year, certainly has the midas touch for winning titles, 2 this season + the Pl last with glasgow & the Nl I believe. The riders ride where they are treated well, and some from Europe just ride in the uk for a couple of years then stay away from the uk. If the wage payments in the rest of Europe do start dropping some may come back, but probably only if the uk races on one or two nights a week only, or as part of a squad type system. There may be a reason that clubs purchase riders but I cannot see major benefits. Just imagine if a club who paid a lot of money for a young foreign rider, only for that rider to be injured and stay in his home country, or decide only to ride in Poland after riding in the uk for only one season. And what exactly did Glasgow do to command a big fee? That's why the asset system is wrong, wrong, wrong! Glasgow has been sold so why do you say that Glasgow will need the cash to help them? We could all do with money to help us but we usually have to earn it! Should get some sort of payout from it. Same could be said for Darcy - 1 year at KL and sold for £38,000. If you want to attract new sponsors, and show commitment to fans sometimes pulling a big name out the hat works well. Just my opinion. How about Patch gives Glasgow £2K to cover his airfares?
