orion
I think we have to keep the top 3 of Hans ,Killer ,and Batch they take up about 23 points and then work from there .
Seb the Snail
I don't think major surgery will be required if the figure is somewhere around 42 or so. Troy and Simon are on lower marks than they were in March, and I don't think that the skipper's average moved significantly either. Pretty unusual for a team that has just won the title. Whether or not we go down the route of keeping Hans, Troy and PK isn't necessarily in our hands but I'd like to think that we'll definitely track a team with strength from top to bottom like this year. A ORLOV
With the averages at the end of this year we need to reduce the team by approx 5 or 6 points to get to 41 or 42. Edit After checking averages we only need to reduce by 4 or 5 points. Edited October 26, 2012 by A ORLOV

I think "the special one" will have to leave out one of Batch or Hansi to give a good balance to the team
malcolm_31
I think Hansi Boy will be back with Peterborough. That would be his first choice as it is close to his home. Obviously if they didnt want to use him again then that is good news for Swindon.
BuzzCagney
Something tells me Hans would be very happy to stay. I hope so. He's been brilliant. Hasn't put a foot wrong on or off track.
thecoombdog
Agreed Orlovski. Despite really enjoying watching Hans at Blunsdon this year, if i had to choose between the two of them, i would go with Batch. Around 10 years younger and still room for improvement. I would go one step further and give him the captaincy. Not so sure about the inclusion of Seb Alden, although admittedly he didn't let us down when called upon on the 5 or 6 occasions we used him this year. For me, he is a little inconsistent. Robin Aspergren is a decent shout and still on a lowish average. My team would be: 1. Batchelor 2. Stead 3. Doyle 4. Morris 5. Kildermand 6. Aspergren 7. Lampart You make me laugh ER! Only a true Steady fan could say they didn't want someone back because they were inconsistent and then name Steady in their preferred team!!!
johnno4
After last night's cup defeat I should imagine that Posh will want both Hans & Batch back next year. Hanging onto them even if they want to stay maybe difficult.
LagutaRacingFan
No thanks, you can keep Batchelor. Guy is a arrogant wannabe superstar.
noggin
Think Magic may well be back, Isn't he over 21 now? so no U21 commitments.

And as for arrogant wannabe superstar, I thought that described you admirably.

It's amazeing even after title win people still want the likes of Magic and Pavlic back ...this years team was built on team spirit and riders turning up every week . Can't see why we would want to change a winning formula .

What happened to Magic the 8 point rider the Kings Lynn said would happen at the start of this season. Just hope we get Nick as an assett to add to PK & then maybe we might have to buy Troy or Hans or we'll run the risk of having to wait to see who gets left out by their parent club. LagutaRacingFan
Zengota has already signed a contract for the 2013 season for the Robins.
Crazy robin
Zengota has already signed a contract for the 2013 season for the Robins. There is no way Rosco & Gary would sign Zengota for 2013 before knowing the team limits so jog along.

EnglishRoundabout
You make me laugh ER! Only a true Steady fan could say they didn't want someone back because they were inconsistent and then name Steady in their preferred team!!! Ahh me and thecoombdog doing battle over steady! I only support Steady because i recognise him as a classy rider. When he is on form and confident he is without doubt in my opinion a six to seven point rider. I still reckon he has the ability to perform to that level too. Sure, he lost his way this year, but he came back and delivered when it really mattered. He is a must for next season. Not because i support him but because he is on a bargain average and will produce at least 7 points at home and probably around 5 away. Seb Alden, on the other hand, delivered in the 5 matches we used him. However, he has had two or three seasons with the robins in the past and has rarely produced his best, in fact he has flattered to deceive to be brutally honest. Alden would be a risk. Steady on his average would be a bonus.
BuzzCagney
A real shame the boys will only get a small taste of the admiration that we have for them The D&D tonight will be great, i'm sure, but a packed Abbey would be the place to show the lads how happy and proud of them we are.
