keef
Good news for the Robins... was chatting in cab to James Phipps, Swindon-born CEO of Excalibur Communications, business IT specialists. Says they are working with Swindon speedway club to promote them in local schools and introduce a new generation of fans to Blunsdon. And also a business referral scheme. They had a presence at The Final on Monday.
Chalkie
I would vote to keep Rosco!
Steve0
I would vote to keep Rosco! I would have thought that a poll on that was unnecessary - he's going nowhere
frigbo
Pretty much same team with a tweak or two at the bottom end.
BuzzCagney
Want Hans to see out his career at Swindon. Top bloke and excellent skipper and racer. I'd be hugely disappointed if he's not back. Harris? No thanks.
A ORLOV
Good report in the Adver today. Jason has described the move to Swindon as the best move of his career, and if the rules allow he wishes to return in 2013. This is fantastic news and I am sure welcomed by all the Swindon fans if it happens.

Seb the Snail
Swindon certainly have the nucleus of a team that can challenge for honours again next season. Kildemand and Morris would be the first names on my team sheet, along with Hans as skipper if at all possible. He has been a credit to both himself and the club on and off track from the moment he joined. The Simon Stead that we saw in October is obviously a bargain on his current mark if he wants to stay. It's also no coincidence that we are always better with a "Seb" in the team and so I'd like to think that there will be a role for Mr Alden somewhere too.

Killer and Morris should be the first names down. Not sure about Steady to be honest. He made me look a mug in the play off's with his good form but its very hard to forget the first 30 odd matches of the season! But a doubling up Steady could be a good asset. He clearly needs more time on a bike and riding in the PL will give him that. I also agree about Alden. Never once let us down when called upon this year. I would also like to see Aspregen back at reserve. He deserves a proper run after his good start to 2012.

Then Nick, Jason and Simon as D/U riders which I think will help both them and the team as has been shown by the improvement in Nick since he went PL. Both Jason and Simon have said that they need more rides than an EL place gives them. I agree with the inclusion of Seb as he has proved what he can do, and also Robin. Hans Frank Seb Robin D/U Jason D/U Nick D/U Simon It may be that either Seb or Robin may also prefer to D/U and Nick wants to move into the main team only. I just hope that the team limit is raised or something like a dual number 1 rider system in some form is set up, then Swindon can keep the bulk of the best team this year, the 2012 League Champions. orion
Like to keep all the riders who rode this year as they all done there job .. i think Doyle and Frank have gone a tad to high to be used again next year but i guess we will have to wait for the rules . Bomo1
Surely even if the team building limit goes up to 45 points (which it won't), someone would still have to go?!
keef
Dont see many people that want Batch back, but there's not much to choose between him and Hansi. Definitely Killer, Kid, Steady(no doubt/D?U), Doyley for me. Need some continuity so the fans can identify and build a rapport. Hansi/Batch Killer Morris Steady Doyley

Hansi/Batch Killer Morris Steady Doyley I really want Batch back, from having no time for the bloke at the start of the year he really has started to grow up and we have had hardly any of his antics this year. i guess that might be a lot to do with Rosco . I also feel that with Batch there is still a lot improvement still to come while Doyle thou he's done great, i really can't see him added much on to his average . YerRopes
I'd have Troy back without a doubt, he's improved as the season has gone on after a dodgy start... Troy Killer Stead/Doyle Morris/Alden As for the rest, it depends on the outcome of the AGM... Edited October 25, 2012 by yerropes
A ORLOV
If the team limit only goes up a bit it will be very difficult to keep both Hans and Batch without ripping the team apart.
EnglishRoundabout
Agreed Orlovski. Despite really enjoying watching Hans at Blunsdon this year, if i had to choose between the two of them, i would go with Batch. Around 10 years younger and still room for improvement. I would go one step further and give him the captaincy. Not so sure about the inclusion of Seb Alden, although admittedly he didn't let us down when called upon on the 5 or 6 occasions we used him this year. For me, he is a little inconsistent. Robin Aspergren is a decent shout and still on a lowish average. My team would be: 1. Batchelor 2. Stead 3. Doyle 4. Morris 5. Kildermand 6. Aspergren 7. Lampart
A ORLOV
But both Simon and Jason want to d/u so Seb can also be used as d/u which gives more options.
BuzzCagney
I think Hans is only 5 or 6 years older than Troy. I'm going to keep saying this- I want to keep as many of this team as possible. Can't contemplate losing any of these brilliant lads.
