wandersome
maybe what i should of said and i am not saying what the manager said is not right the best person's to ask would be fisher and karlsson themselves but i do understand the management giving a reason for not bringing karlsson back as he had a big following at leicester what does bother's me is if he signs for someone else then the reason given cant of been right and his new club cant be folowing the pay scales.if you see what i am trying to say. Fair enough comment Neb although as i understand it Flights, Vans etc can be included in a deal on top of the pay scales so this could be a factor in who signs for who. It's probably not straighforward to say if someone signs a rider who has refused to ride elsewhere due to pay scales they must then be not following the pay scales. P.w
No disrespect meant by my next comment to Simon Stead but what if he doesn't fit in with Swindon's plans. I'm sure he will but depending on their team building, he might not fit in which puts this day change argument to bed. Of course, we don't know when we will find out about Swindon's signings, do we? I agree though, the day cannot be changed for one rider, there must be a category of other reasons to justify it. Ooo, think I may have called this one a while back and nobody responded either way! neb
Apparently Karlsson has stated that he will not be doing Premier League this season due to the pay rates.. magnus has today stated on his facebook page he didn't say that he wont ride in the uk next year and is hopeful of finding something for 2013.. lionking
It is no longer his local track. He has now moved into a house with his girlfriend in the west midlands. I can understand his decision to sign for Leicester with the pay cap whats the point traveling 100's of miles to ride a home match using expensive fuel. When for exactly the same money he can be home 2 hours after the end of a home match if need be. Wage cap means nothing in Speedway. Why would Roynon not show some loyalty to Worky if that was the case it's his local track.

graz gp
Get a move on Mr Machin. Sign him on. Before someone else does.
lionking
Sign who ?? Roynon has signed for Leicester. Maggie wouldn't be a good signing for Sheffield imo . He is too much of a gater & if he misses the gate he may aswell go stright back to the pits because he can't pass which is vital round Sheffield Get a move on Mr Machin. Sign him on. lionking
I'm not doubting that. Magnus was super professional & was very good team man aswell as keeping morale in the team up when things got tough. But i just felt too often if he missed the gate he rarely passed anyone. I for one would love him to sign for Sheffield & score 15 every week then just have 4 bad matches vs Leicester next season dont be to sure yes he is a gater and yes he can race he is also a very good team player and very professional with it and was a credit to leicester during his time there and i like many others will miss him for sure. spin king
Bored why? Don't we all want to talk about Leicester speedway, and the rider they dropped.
oriole
As a speedway fan, just like weatching Richard Hall round Sheffield. I know he's inconsistent away but I can live with that. Ricky Wells has to be a Tiger in 2013 as well.
OdsalBoy
I predict that the next signing will be one of Ricky Wells or Hugh Skidmore. I also hope the promotion do everything they can to bring Simon Stead back,. he is the spark we need and a good leader.
OdsalBoy
Just read the latest in the star from Hoggy, why on earth are they waiting to see if Swindon will be using Simon Stead next year if they have released him? SIGN HIM NOW, we need Steady so badly next season.

Halifordukesfan
Star was written and went to press before Swinedon released him? Don't think so, official Swindon press release was on Sunday.
