spin king
Damien Koppe??? Cant see it being a Pole, would like to see one of the young talented Danes. Could it be that your wish will come true.
DAVEK
I'd go with Koppe if they can research his family tree for some sort of british ancestry
MrMungo
Koppe has ridden in Britain before though, so based on the article, it would rule him out...

Seen him a few time this summer in the AM meetings at Scunny, looks a tidy rider but did nt seem to have anything much more to offer than some of the other riders on the day to be honest
yorkshiretyke
Could it be that your wish will come true. unfortunately my wish very rarely comes true as far as Sheffield are concerned. Just got a feeling the promotion realise after last seasons shower they have to get it right next year. Heres hoping. I have heard Koppe would be on 3.00 ave, dont know how true that is but worth a go on that if he is. There was a rumour that his Mother was British, but that was proven to be untrue, so he comes in on a 5 point assessed average.

Maybe doesn't sound too good now then, on a 3 yes, 5 would be difficult to improve on.

If it is true and i have been told on good authority it is i think it is disgusting that yet another aussie comes in when i know good british riders have beaten him on numourus occasions NL riders who are 16 yrs old, why dont they get a chance...... al promoters think they are getting the next Darcy Ward ... Darcy ward he isnt

Only at amateur level on a visitors visa though........ so that could rule him in
Andrew
Total stab in the dark ,Rocco Scopellite.Has been over with the USA dream team of course but I take "never rode in Britian" as never signed for a British team.More likely to be a Scandinavian or Aussie rider though.
Hel'n'Back
Would be great if it was Rocco! Just checked out how old he is now and he turned 16 last May! Edited November 6, 2012 by Hel'n'Back

Thehitman
Is the same Damian koppe who was beaten by a young national league rider at Scunthorpe ? Why not go with a young British rider instead !!
tigerowl
I think Koppe was mentioned a season or two ago and his starting average was brought up then. Something tells me that he was a three pointer for some reason but I may be wrong. I think Sheffield have more of a history in bringing over Aussies rather than Scandinavians since our experiments with the likes of Thomas Ravn, I'm not sure about the points limit and all that but I would love to see a team looking a bit like: Steady Joe Haines Jordan Frampton (if he can be tempted back) Michael Palm Toft Sam Masters Micky Dyer Lewis Blackbird
