Hope the forcast rain holds off to allow this meeting to take place before the cut off date,.which again taking into account this summers weather is rediculously early ,giving the Raiders and others little chance of qualifying for the play offs I have long been unimpressed by the co-ordinater of the national league..Raiders will be at full strenght,,though Jason Garrity blew both his engines last night,, but i guess he will find something to ride .Good luck to all the riders this afternoon..

Superb win from the Raiders 41-48. All 4 points,, makes a mockery of the rediculous cut off date for the play offs.. This league is run very poorly .. Sarjeant and Garrity, just brilliant,, with solid back up from Morley and another great display from young Connor Coles ... Bit of an off afternoon for Birks ,It,happens.. Well done to all the team....Apparently ive just heard Raiders have moved into 4th place in the league ,does that mean we might have a chance of qualifying for the play off,s now ??. Any one know the permutations ??? Raiders have 2 matches left..to race ,,,which won,t count.

Stoke were again poor today , with only Carr able to hold his head high !

Birks looks jaded and off his normal pace , with Reade well below par.

Atkin is not a heat leader , Carr is definitely getting stronger , Rumsey needs time and Cockle without any offence will only pick up scraps.

Today's attendance was the worst I can ever remember in 20 plus years , and I fear for Stokes long term future I'm afraid.

I don't want to seem to be knocking my team , but it's hard to see any positives in the clubs present situation

Stoke just weren't good enough, and haven't been for a few weeks.

Birks had a nightmare meeting, Atkin was OK, Reade did well, Cockle may as well not bother at times, Rumsey battles but is inexperienced, and Carr is a shining light in a dismal end of season.

Stoke have a couple of o/s matches too which shan't now be raced before the P/O deadline but that hasn't hurt them.

KL and Rye away if memory serves. Thankfully, we got plenty of points before our team was decimated

Why cant the cut off date be moved so that we get the right top 4 in the play offs .The co-ordinater is a joke who makes the league a farce ,,this is not the first year this has happened,,,rant over..

VERY ironic that what should/would be a totally decesive fixture (RH vs, Stoke) is just three days AFTER this 19/9 extended deadline. Hard to work out why/how seeing that coming up, the deadline wasn't extended to the end of the weekend..?

Would make zero difference to when the PO semis would be held but (potentially) a massive difference to what could be the final top four...

Probably because when the deadline was extended, whoever decided it thought that Stoke would have enough points (which they have) and didn't consider the possibility of a late charge from Rye. Good on 'em though!

Great result for the Raiders, can't believe the joke that is the cut off date considering the disjointed season we've had due to adverse weather. If the Raiders sneak in, unlikely with the Islanders going to Lynn, then we could cause an upset.

Garrity is one of the best riders in the league, Sarj has been on top form in the last few meetings, probably because he's actually been racing regularly, something that hasn't happened for many of the Raiders this season. Ben, again is a big hitter at this level now, whilst Shane Hazelden wasn't Hackney number one last year for no reason.

Well perhaps but of course the Potters only have "enough points" because the match vs. RH is AFTER the deadline.

Though I accept that another 'missing' fixture is Stoke's visit to the NA so they could argue they'd possibly win there...

I'm sure we all agree it's all a bit of a shame..

I think the shame of it all is that Dudley should be named "League" winners as they are head but not shoulders the best team in the League and the winner of the farce of the playoffs called "Playoff" winners.

In my opinion the play offs are a waste of time & Dudley are rightfully the National League Champions. It's like the format in most sport nowdays that not the best overall is crowned champions because of a one off game that they might loose. Take the individual finals, the best rider can beat everyone in the 20 heats leading upto the final and then blow it in the shoot out. It's a complete farce.
