luluthetiger
The "Jayden O'Malley case" will still be coming back to bite speedway on the bum, I fear. Max Fricke, Harley Horwood, Damien Koppe (Sheffield) and the lad Ryan Douglas at Scunny -- will they all be granted visas (or is it work permits that matter?) automatically? If any of the above have access to EU passports, and don't need work permits, I apologise
Nutz
Doesn't have to be a "Darcy Ward " to be in PL What a relief!

Was the original decision to stop O'Malley joining Glasgow a result of the Border Agency saying no, or the BSPA refusing to endorse his application?
adz_mft
Unless like Cameron Heaps you have British family connections................others Aussies have done it to like Jay Herne when Bournemouth ran a few years back............... RP Herne's mum I think is British.Could be wrong
MD
Was the original decision to stop O'Malley joining Glasgow a result of the Border Agency saying no, or the BSPA refusing to endorse his application? Whoever it was they were right and should never have given in. The down side is that a precedent may have been set.
Paulco
Was the original decision to stop O'Malley joining Glasgow a result of the Border Agency saying no, or the BSPA refusing to endorse his application? There was concern over his experience and ability on 500cc machines , concerns that proved to be correct
Steelman 77
O'Malley was definitely raw but his bike looked as if it had been cobbled together from odds and ends he found lying about and comparing it to the set up that Campton had it was night and day. There was obviously suggestions that he was less than committed when it came to prep but I don't think he was devoid of talent. With commitment and a bit of backing I reckon it could have turned out quite differently.

luluthetiger
Clubs like Sheffield and Berwick are building sides at reasonable cost, within the budgets and PL restrictiions. No reason for Tigers not to do the same. Is a reason Ryan Fisher hasn't signed anywhere that he's too expensive? If so, Tigers surely haven't got the money to pay him, sort the toilets, build a bar and finance track modifications as well?

Bagpuss
i heard fisher has signed for peterborough how true that is i dont know. ............and that the deal is dependent on him not riding PL too. However it seems Coventry have put a block on the move as they may need him themselves now that Barker is subject of a tug of war. Don't you just love the close season
