only been up to your neck of the woods one time and the race that will forever stick in my mind was between screen and karlsson that was probley the best race i have ever seen if they can race togeather like that then karlsson in the same team as screen has to be worth considering heat's 13/15 they will be very hard to beat round glasgow.would loved to of seen karlsson back at leicester next year but for what ever reason he is not comming back so he is available and would be worth a punt on a 7.34 and he always seem's to do well round your place.

He is also inconsistent, just ask Scunthorpe and no doubt very expensive to fly in every weekend when Glasgow don't have money to put about.

no need to ask scunthorpe i have watched him for a season and half round leicester and he did a lot for leicester while he was there, always pulled it out of the bag when we needed it. maybe your right about the flights but i am not to sure how it works,do the club pay for them? the young aussie you have just signed giving him a van somwhere to live, workshop and probley a mechanic and maybe a whole host of other things is that not expensive? could be an expensive gamble if it dont go to plan at least with the likes of karlsson he will score you points from the off that could work out cheaper in the long run.

Worryingly Mark Lemon is still available

Lemon looked a shadow of his old self last season. I think he has lots on his plate now and riding in the PL is not his main one. Not to say he wouldn't try, just that he would have to balance it with kits of other things. Ricky Wells or Vissing for me would balance Tigers well. Younger guy to work with the two old stagers.

if your looking for a guy to do a full season then vissing is a bad choice, never seen a anyone crash as much.saw him crash twice at leicester in the same meeting while on his own.if i remember right it was thanks to him we beat somerset due to his crashes.

Adam Roynon can be classed in the same boat though who signed him ? these riders are all out triers and i would rather watch one off those types than a gating tart like Karlsson injuries can happen to anyone nature off the sport i'm afraid .

Give me a few meetings of an entertainer and crowd pleaser like Vissing any day, than a season of a 'robot'!

The Glasgow fans would pure lap it up!

I remember that - one of them he fell when going full tilt on a tactical ride. The second time though, he collided with Jason Doyle from memory.

His away form for Somerset after his injuries were a concern, but he's the type of rider who doesn't take no $hit and will always mix it. When in full flight, he can be superb.

The year we won the League he guested for us at Worky scored a 15pt max and was superb i would have him in a Tigers race suit any day off the week, he is one off those riders you look forward to coming to Ashfield as you know you will get entertained .

That is what we need, entertainers. No disrespect to all other riders, but we've not really had this since the Messiah left.

then you dont class screeny as an entertainer?

Not in the same ilk as Parker. definitely not. Joe is a brilliant rider, however at Ashfield he is invariably streets ahead of the opposition in ability and distance during a race. Nowt like the videos on YouTube where he is competing with a different class of opposition. Away from home, especially Armadale, he can be disappointing. Joe just blasts most opposition out of sight at Ashfield.

Parker would stalk his prey over 3 or 4 laps and it was edge of the seat stuff as he sat on another rider's tail pipe waiting for the right moment, he also 'mixed it' a bit more. So better all round entertainment value.

I think we'll be very top heavy with another 7 point + signing but ultimately we may not be left with a lot of choice. If that is to be the way then I can't think of anyone better than Vissing, I think the bloke is pure box office both through his aggressive style and the way he celebrates with the fans. I'm sure he would be a signing that would excite the Glasgow faithful.

I wish we could start Horwood at reserve but I can't see it now.

Couldn't agree with you more of the riders that are left Vissing is by far the best option

Class act but he didn't score a maximum for us at Workington. He dropped a point but made up for it by scoring a paid max the day after when the Monarchs were cuffed 58-32 at Ashfield :D
