Berwick Bandits 2013

Recommended Posts

I have sent a letter detailing the flaws in presentations of the meeting, yet to receive any acknowledgment of letter so I dunno what more I can do???

You still havn't said what your credentials are ! If this presentation is your fort'e then maybe you could help out. I don't think the Berwick owners are daft enough to think their product is perfect, sometimes when you are too closely involved with something you can't see the wood for the trees, they have never been shy to say they are open to any suggestions any body may have to improve their product, and indeed have acted on many during their reign.

Try calling any of them, if you need numbers i have most of them or e-mail the address is on the website

I've worked in media and marketing for 8 years, have a degree in media, marketing and tourism (2:1) not first class honours tho ;)

I've sent the letter, if nobody can be bothered to reply or even acknowledge then I feel I would be banging my head against a brick wall with any further correspondence

Who did you send the letter too ? I know them all, i could give them a nudge, maybe they didn't receive the letter ? Maybe they did reply but you didn't receive the letter, i'll say it again, they are willing to listen, you would in all honesty be better to speak to one of them as i feel with your background you could really help

I sent it via the contact page on the website, I do understand what your saying btw

Who is responsible for the media/marketing if the speedway?

I suppose someone should have got it. Not sure if any one particular person does it, I think it's more of a shared job. But if node person got you message and it in any way was not complimentary to them then maybe they wouldn't want to share it with the others haha.

I can if you wish send you some e-mail addresses by private message. Please don't give up on this as you are, to the best of my knowledge, a lot more qualified than any body currently involved with the speedway in media and marketing.

We can all criticise, as I have done in the past, but I prefer to tell the people and discuss it, and things become a whole lot clearer,

Let me know if you want the info I've offered

Commercial/Marketing manager is Julie Newton (julie@berwickbandits.co) FAF (fit as f )

Press/Media Officer is Lawrence Heppell (lawrence_heppell@hotmail.com) FAF (fat as f )

If you're talking Saturday night meeting presentation, that would be Dick Barrie (dick@berwickbandits.co) JF (just f )

I've inserted the letters after their names so they will definately get there/

Impressive. People are trying to help the club, offering help and providing information, and this comes along. Get to f.

I agree great to see people pulling together for the benefit of the club for once instead of slagging it of.

Berwick have announced some changes, firstly it looks like they will revert to a more traditional parade with bikes on track before the racing starts, also a local DJ is joining the presentation team. The meeting programme will change size though there will be no change in price it seems.

The adult admission will go up from £12 to £13.

All good i would say no doubt there will be grumbles about price increase from original but makes season ticket a better deal. Maybe Dick is being moved towards the door ever so gently mind :t:
