Catch Me If You Can
We won't retain the 4's trophy with that team It should not be that much different a five to last season?Ashworth, Bellego, Smith, Aspegren and Wethers looks ok Smith for Seb will be tough but Peterborough should suit him fine and Aspegren for Complin ok with either Wethers or Bellego reserve.
Pinny
Aspegrens average is over many meetings?? 6.4 is about right for him?? Except Aspegren's figure is a rolling one and he actually averaged almost a point higher than that for Berwick alone in 2012. Barretts sub 4 figure is purely on his 2012 form and Edbergs is also a pretty accurate figure. Barrett with a full season may well improve well on his figure but I am afraid after well over a season, Edbergs average is a true reflection, even given his injuries. I seen him at Newport when he gated ahead of Ithink Gjedde and was all over the shop for four laps, many said then that he looked an accident waiting to happen and as much as we hate injuries in our sport, that has been proved right. screm
We won't retain the 4's trophy with that team Maybe not but for me success in the PL is what every season should be all about, for the last couple of seasons our PL position has been poor so it would be nice to see a better finishing position. A national trophy though is always very welcome.

Backless
Plenty of shale on the track, it's just on the wrong parts of the track It's truly amazing that the BSPA haven't sought to put you in charge of well, everything. With the insightful way you know the answers to everything it would surely only be a matter of 12 months before speedway overtook football in attendances, wages & exposure in the media.

Fromafar
Here we go again, track experts crawling out of their holes again, as Ian Rae stated on friday night at the forum, unless you actually sit on a bike and ride the track you havn't got a clue what your talking about While Ian Rea has a perfectly valid point, but the recent survey in the Speedway Star pointed to Track preperation be an issue with a lot of fans regarding entertainment value (not at any one particular venue) and surely has to be taken into account when trying to improve the value for money aspect. Reducing the admission costs is a fine gesture but if the entertainment value isn't improved it will be a wasted exercise in many fans eyes. The type of fan who complains about the track will never be happy, so I think it is best to leave them to their allotments and whist drives. Berwick is a classic example of this. In the Peter Waite days, it really was rough, and criticised heavily by riders and fans. The track has been transformed since that era, with countless compliments from riders, including GP ace Chris "Bomber" Harris. Yet you still hear the same archaic gurning from some about the condition of the track. We need fans who are capable of being independent thinkers, not sheep. You mention the machinery as an aspect that constrains racing. I suspect that, alongside riders' frame of mind, and circumstances, are the main drivers with regard to that.

Could be a fact that the independant thinkers not sheep are tending their allottments and going to whist drives. We have to get them back to the Speedway. If the product is entertaining the fans will return IMO.

I'm sure a lot of them will be, and if we get them we might get rid of this tiresome track garbage. Of course, one could argue that a ploughed field track where the riders are hanging on for dear life makes for an entertaining meeting. I think your machinery point is the most pertinent with regard to closer racing, and keeping costs down.
spin king junior
Can someone tell me if Albin was any good?.... Hard to tell. He looked exciting, but was only riding against national league standard riders and wasn't exactly doing that great against them either. freddyfivetoes
Can someone tell me if Albin was any good?.... Why are you asking? He's signing for someone else, not the Devils.
screm
Many thanks mate :-) so not really PL standard Your investing a potential in signing Albin,he might turn out to be a decent PL rider but that will take time,IMO he wouldnt get anywhere near his 5pt assessed average for a while and right now could any PL club take that kind of gamble. Arson fire
Any idea of an average for albin??
DSC67
You never know but I wanted to know if he was at the standard now or needed to improve!! He might be a target for the devils so trying to get some background on him. I agree I don't think Plymouth could afford to take a gamble on him but never say never and the bandits promotion were keen to sign him on a pre contract earlier.... Any idea of an average for albin?? probably 5.00 (assessed)
