Berwick Bandits 2013

Emilali and RobinH88,why don't you do everyone a favour and go away and join Aljack on the Ipswich thread, you two are obviously of the same mentality. I can not for the life of me understand why you claim to be Supporters of a sport you continually rip to bits on this forum. Why waste you time commenting on something you so blatantly do not like ?

Great to see another PL club using team suits. For me they should be compulsory as they look far more professional than random kevlars with race jackets.

The counter arguement has always been that team suits somehow take away the individualism of the rider, something I done agree with.I like teams in race suits for the reasons you give.

Just an idea but I wonder if the club have thought of producing team shirts as merchandise, they could look like the top half of their team suits.

I agree as well team suits do look really professional. Also I don't think it takes away a riders individuality as they still have they're own bike covers.

Real argument against team suits appeared in Berwick's own programme last season.

That they are fine, except when you change the team/get a guest/have an injury, etc.

Then the new guys doesn't wear a suit and it all looks far less professional than no suits.

Imagine Manchester United turning out on Saturday with eight guys in red shirts, two in blue and another in training gear.

Was there got some good practice in Ricky was looking quick as was Matty Kozza did not seem to be out very often they were racing alone. I liked the practice better last year when they went round in pairs maybe they were being cautious after last years injuries who would blame them

That was always the opinion of our former centre green presenter, team kevlars are the thing for now and the future and Im in favour of them, they make the sport look more professional.

Take your point when using guests, maybe the club could invest in a couple or three spare suits.

The Man Utd point is relevant though,on most saturdays one of their players runs round in all black blowing on a whistle from time to time. :D

There are rules in Football that that prevents that happening,In general Team suits are good for the sport IMO.
