screm
Awfy unfair on Screm to lump him in with that lunatic. Screm's posts are never bitter, and he does post in a pretty balanced way. Lee will be back next year, he is black and gold through and through. Complin is certainly one of the most thrilling riders ever to race round Shielfield, but I hope he isnt in next years team. His home scoring isnt up for debate, but its away from home where the problem is,and has been over the last season or two. Hopefully we will get Ashworth back, along with Alden,if Barrett has a proper average Ive seen enough of him to think he can do a job next year, especially if he starts at reserve along with Bellego. crescent girl
Who really cares about form away from home? Let's face it, Gjedde was pretty good at away fixtures -- so indeed was Willie Lawson. To put on an entertaining, thrilling show for locally-based spectators every week you need home-track excitement. For which purpose Lee Complin ticks all the boxes.

If the promotion are ambitious in bring PL success to Berwick, and Im hoping they are, then it vital a team can pick up points away from home.Otherwise we are only building a team to win at home and win at home alone. And we arent winning at home either.
DSC67
Does the uncertainty over the future of Glasgow strengthen Berwicks case in the Bellago decision ? I'd love to see him back next season
Gazc
Does the uncertainty over the future of Glasgow strengthen Berwicks case in the Bellago decision ? I'd love to see him back next season Don't see why it would it is completely separate the BSPA will make there decision regardless what may unfold at Glasgow, if and i would say this find in our favour as he rode enough meeting's for us last season and the unthinkable happened and we were not to run then i guess he would then be an asset off the BSPA. After that i would think that anyone who would which to acquire his contract from them would be able to negotiate, but let's all hope we can get to track next year i would rather lose Bellego than not have a team to watch
Tsunami
Does the uncertainty over the future of Glasgow strengthen Berwicks case in the Bellago decision ? I'd love to see him back next season I think you have a very good case for acquiring Bellago as an asset anyway. He did enough meetings for an average but not as an asset with Glasgow. He has for you, so I don't see any other decision but to name him as your asset.

screm
Does the uncertainty over the future of Glasgow strengthen Berwicks case in the Bellago decision ? I'd love to see him back next season Glasgow had the chance of signing Bellego but for whatever reason didnt,Berwick have kept him in the team all season,so IMO theres only one decision, and thats Bellego becomes a Berwick asset, but this is the BSPA so anythings possible. Keep trying, people Quite close, but absolutely no cigar! The vast majority of us hide behind usernames,if you want to log on under your real name then off you go,a forum celebrity your arent. Catch Me If You Can
If the promotion are ambitious in bring PL success to Berwick, and Im hoping they are, then it vital a team can pick up points away from home.Otherwise we are only building a team to win at home and win at home alone. And we arent winning at home either. Real worry down my way and that includes in Elite League is the long term future of Speedway in this country. Is there a chance of our top clubs going into a Europa League and then we have a one off British League of maybe 16 clubs? You hear horrendous stories of finances falling and crowds dropping and I think clubs such as Workington and Glasgow are just the tip of iceberg. It will be very interesting to see what happens at this years Speedway AGM (not sure when on) as to who will be back in 2013!
BigRackBandit
Who really cares about form away from home? A fair number Bandit fans spend alot of money travelling the country to support the Bandits, if you saw the support the Bandits received on the away tour this season, you'd realise quite alot of fans care passionately about how the Bandits do away from home. To put on an entertaining, thrilling show for locally-based spectators every week you need home-track excitement. For which purpose Lee Complin ticks all the boxes. I agree with this part of your post though, nothing more exciting than watching Lee pull off stunning passes around Shielfield, which sadly not many other riders can do, which makes him special to watch around Shielfield. I'm very undecided on whether I'd retain Lee, if it were my decision to make.

If you dont have form away from home you are never going to get anywhere i would much rather we picked up four or five away victories and had closer matches at home rather than hitting 55 or 60 points at home . Agree,my worry is though that we will build a team to win at home only,if we are to be successful thens its important we pick up points in away meetings.I get the point that the vast majority of our fans see home meetings only, but wouldnt it be nice to have a team that was compeditive in away meetings.
Robinh88
I bet we made more money losing at home to Edinburgh than beating Ipswich at home Enough said, its about money, we put duff teams out for a reason. Berwick don't want to be winning by 20 every home meeting and having Facu Albin scoring 18 points at Ipswich, Worky and Unia Tarnow next season. But we'll happily win at home by a few, and be at best competitive on the road. We were told it was about the infastructure and we wont do an Ellsmere Port. I believe that is the truth, I don't expect a change in our fortunes in the current climate
