Brummie Kev
Apparently Coventry are entering a National League team next year, thats what I read in the 2013 thread in the EL section.
greyhoundp
And It seems there is every likelihood that Plymouth if they run anywhere in 2013, would be NL. So it doesnt appear to be as bleak for the NL as what it seemed a few weeks ago. Edited October 28, 2012 by greyhoundp

Ommer Mon
Coventry v Dudley at National League level. Â Now there's a prospect! Â There will be more there for that one than many of the Elite League fixtures. Â A mouth watering prospect to see the Heathens back to Brandon after so many years. Â Forget the Premier League its time to bash the Bees again (in the best possible taste of course)!
BuckTaylor64
Plymouth you can add and possibly Norwich! Â Such a shame if Buxton go! This is an ideal venue for a Nation academy.
greyhoundp
following on from the announcement of NL racing returning to Coventry, the rumours about Leicester joining the EL persist, if that were to happen, i would not be at all surprised to see Leicester go for an NL Team, what with Dudley, Coventry and Leicester, there would be some mouth watering clashes in prospect, this is only my thoughts, but i think it would be do-able. Damon
I still think all this is early days, until the league structure is confirmed. Which I suppose won't happen until all the promoters get together and state there views and intentions.
Mike.Butler
hope the new non-stand alone teams are prepared to accept the NL as a training league which is what Buxton need to be able to compete..If not, then why don't the Coventry or Leiceter promotions financially support the Hitmen (and maybe Stoke)and race there instead of at home? Seems to me Buxton./Stoke/IOW need to compete at MDL level and that means a 4 tier structure... Stand-Aloe teams could run 2 x dev lge matches on same night + rider of night semis and final to give 15 heats.. Or why can't all EL/PL teams introduce junior racing at that level and get PL teams to run 2nd halves to bring on youngsters? trying to think of alternate ways to include everyone who wants to ride and at a level they can afford... Jayne
Saturday afternoons Bw ?. Â Not possible due to work commitments and the fact that it has not been financially viable in the past. Also think Stoke may have an objection (quite rightly) as it is their racenight.
