lucifer sam
Whose guesting for the Saints at number 1 Rob? Take it the rest is the usual Saints team? Lewis Kerr is the guest at No 1 - rest of team per normal. So an identical team to the home match against Rye. All the best Rob
waco
With the return of Jason Garitty i would expect the Raiders to reverse the result they had at Scunny recently . Ben.Morley and James Sarjeant normally fly round Rye,, Shane Hazelden who has not had much racing recently and Luke Chessle should also pick up good points and rookie Connor Coles is making excellent progress each week.. For Scunny Garry Irving is a top rider at this level,,but may not class Rye as being one of his favourite tracks ,.Tom Young has made great strides this season and is going to be a big threat,,Guest Lewis Kerr is capable of beating anyone but perhaps lacks a little consistancy..I was impressed with Max Clegg around Scunny but i am not sure if he has ridden at Rye before ,it should be interesting ,,so why not come along this evening,,The Raiders and indeed the National league needs more support . Bolt
Has Shane been injuried as he didn't ride in the U19s this week?
waco
Comfortable win for the Raiders 52-39.James Sarjeant 14 from 5,,,,Ben Morley 12+1 from 5 led the scoring,,Connor Coles continues to impress with a battling 10+3 from 6....Jason Garrity was flying but 2 blown engines made tonight an exspensive return to racing..6 from 4 ,,Shane Hazelden 5+3 from 4 ,,Luke Chessle 3 from 4 and Danno Verge 2 from 3 completed the scoring....For Scunny Tom Young started well but two unlucky engine failures cancelled out Garritys problems ..Garry Irving was solid with 10 from 5 ,,and Max Clegg looks one for the future with 6 from 5..Guest Lewis kerr had a win but other wise dissapointing ..An entertaining meeting,, Sarjeants pass off the last bend on Tom Young being the highlite.... cityrebel
a decent match at the launch pad last night, it's just a shame there weren't more people there to see it. combined with last sundays attendance at the british youth championship at sittingbourne, i doubt if it totalled 300 for both meetings. i really do fear for speedways future at this level. waco
]So do i ,,the standard of riders in this league has never been higher yet with one or two exceptions the fans do not support it in sufficient numbers..Looks like there will be withdrawls next season ..Hopefully there may be the possibility of a couple of new tracks coming in,,But these too would need to be financially viable..worrying? KenB1
Shame Kings Lynn can't be turned into a double header with IOW on Wednesday, so the right teams could be in the play-offs!
