Plymouth 2013

Recommended Posts

Be interesting to see if Proctor can meet that assessed average, I like him as a rider, he is an entertainer, but he has his limitations IMO, doubling up/down will help him. But I don’t know if he is good enough from the gate often enough to carry that sort of average, 8.5ish might be a bit more realistic.

Decent enough side though.

Ben Reade will be the last reserve if the paperwork goes through for the yank. Good team that. Will be a lot nearer the top than bottom of the league.

Agreed :approve:

It'll depend a bit on how the Yank and Reade settle in (Ben definitely deserves a shot) but it looks very well balanced indeed.

Not sure about Manzares,tbh.

He went on the Aussie tour a few years.Homesick after a few weeks. Also got a bit aggressive threatening one and all with his martial arts skills.

Hope Im wrong, but have my doubts. Will be at rsserve once the first set of new averages come into play.

gino has grown up a lot. He was a model rider last year on the tour and an example to his team mates. Now a dad as well ....lot of potential

You will have to get yourself down there.

If Tsunami can do it, I am sure you can :D

I'm hoping to. Give us a lift Tsunami.:rofl:

My only criticism is the lack of Brits.

When talking with Seemond in his riding days,he was adamant that Brits should be given chances over foreigners. If he 'owned' a track,he would ensure his team would be mainly Brits.

Same goes for Ashley, who was uber critical of Bowdens use of non Brits.

I appreciate how late they took over, but sincerely hope that we see a 'Brit' influence in future teams.

And i would't go for Reade, i don't know if Max Dilger has signed for anyone yet, but thats the other reserve i would go for, was a match winner when he came down with Redcar, 13+3 two wins and two paid wins in that, Reade gives everything but not to sure if he is up to PL standard yet

And how many of your weekend matches would Max turn up for?

Well, I am really pleased for all Plymouth fans. Having got rid of the guy who was trying to destroy what he had built, you now have local folks who know the task ahead of them, which should get those fans back that couldn't take any more with Mike. They know improvements to the facilities and the safety items have to be tackled, they have bought the club and have a new lease, they have more relevant experience with the promotion ranks to make this takeover very successful and now have signed a team that will entertain and win meetings. I have high hopes for the future of Plymouth and it must be great to be a Plymouth fan after what has gone before. Never been to Plymouth yet, but will be down next year with HalifaxTiger, and meeting up with Bob C and their mates. Looking forward to it.

Sorry, but you're judging Dilger on the strength of just one meeting. Even the Bears fans were amazed as he had done nothing before that meeting and did nothing after, either at home or away.
