Roger MARTIN
It is very true after Mr Saunders left Somerset Speedway support for Nathan from management edged away, he stuck by his side of the letter of intent I have even seen him be totally ignored by various members of the management team Like the management at Plymouth when he was down there, who's idea of helping bring on any youngster who showed promise was to give them four laps before the home meetings. DC2
Plenty of good riders left for Plymouth to choose! How about: Fisher Poole Gathercole North Vissing Kurtz Anderson
orderly
He signed as an Eastbourne asset in September. Where do you get your information from Nathan Stoneman has NOT signed for Eastbourne or any other club he is included in the mildy lineup apart from that he is a free agent

If young Nathan does his six home, six away (or whatever it is this year) for the Fen Tigers, won't he become their asset unless he's already logged in by some other club. In which case Mildenhall will be paying a loan fee?
CardinalSin
I could be wrong, but I don't think NL clubs can attain assets
orderly
Seems to me that this is a ideal time for the new promotion to get in and make him a plymouth asset
SomersetBlue
He is not a somerset asset they are not interested in home grown talent but he is one of the best youngsters that I have seen since Kenny Carter what are you on about if we are not interested in home grown talent why do we have newman, perry and nielsen? luluthetiger
what are you on about if we are not interested in home grown talent why do we have newman, perry and nielsen? SomersetBlue
Erm, because they're loanees from clubs who are? still giving them a chance in the pl.
Najjer
Erm, because they're loanees from clubs who are? Think you will find both Perry and Newman have ridden more meetings for Somerset, than they have for the clubs that hold their contracts. Ie Wolves and Poole. MrMungo
Think Perry is a Dudley asset Najjer.
luluthetiger
And still means Rebels paying three loan fees to train riders for other clubs. Having young Brits in your team is good, of course -- but can't you find any of your own?
SomersetBlue
is brendan johnson not a rebel asset? i know he signed on
doners1234
1 - M.Karlsson - 7.44 2 - C.Gathercole - 6.33 3 - E.Sanchez - 6.20 4 - D.North - 6.49 5 - R.Wells - 6.47 6 - J.Sedgmen - 4.99 7 - T.Kurtz - 4.38 This team equals = 42.30 Only problem is that there is not any real heat leaders apart from possibly Karlson. I do like however the fact we have two capable reserves that could win a meeting. you could take out sedgmen and replace him with a 3.00 and add the extra 1.99 as well as the 0.10 extra left over to someone like north and get someone else who is 8.58. Another team could be..... 1 - FISHER 2 - NEADAMARK 3 - SANCHEZ 4- SOMEONE ON AN AVERAGE OF 5.48 5- WELLS 6- SEDGEMEN 7- KURTZ This team would give you a total of 42.50 Thoughts ? Having young Brits in your team is good, of course -- but can't you find any of your own? Unfortunately, its not just a question of finding them but also getting them to sign for the club. Tai Woffinden is an obvious example. No-one had heard of him until he went to ride for Scunthorpe, but he's not a Scunthorpe asset and never has been. Isle of Wight found Adam Ellis but he's not their asset either.

Najjer
Think Perry is a Dudley asset Najjer. Might be wrong, but I remember when we signed him last year it was announced we were loaning him from Wolves.
Sparky from Sheffield
Unfortunately, its not just a question of finding them but also getting them to sign for the club. Isle of Wight found Adam Ellis but he's not their asset either. Slight correction! He made his debut for SHEFFIELD on his 16th Birthday the season before he signed for Scunny, so we'd heard of him cos he'd been riding second halves there every week!!
