Mauger_Magic
Newcastle 63 Plymouth 27 64-30...this was a knocking bet to be 60 plus...not great for fans though!
Chewbacca
Awesome heat9 though. Lemon, Henry and the Fish with a napkin covering the 3 of them for the full 4 laps. Worth a fiver of the admission at least.
orderly
Diamonds would have won this fairly easily with Barker but without him I would't be surprised to see 60+ particularly if they are using r/r. Why no guest? Not for the first time Plymouth look very weak. Bowdens too tight to pay more than a few quid for a guest Don't normaly post on other matches but feel for anybody at the meeting tonight, Plymouth were poor last night not getting any heat wins and can't understand why there using R-R at Number 1 when they are weak anyway surely BSPA should fine them for a weakened team, feel for them traveling devil fans that have or will witness to massive defeats. Pointless him being fined he won't pay it like he will not pay his riders so why should they try too hard
NJC71
That wonderful heat 9 aside not a meeting that will live long in the memory mainly due to a Plymouth side which in all honesty, Fisher and Gathercole apart was National League standard. I accept that at this stage of the season rider replacement and guests are common place but no excuse for not fielding a guest for an injured number 1 when they could have picked anyone available. Frustrating to watch Rene Bach standing in the pits when he could have been on the track. Don't know what's going on at Plymouth but not good enough imo. Easy points for the Diamonds and we still have a chance of finishing top, although realistically we'll need to win one of the final two away matches. Ipswich without Ludvig doesn't seem likely so perhaps the return match at Plymouth is our best chance. Anyone know if there's any chance of either Steve or Richie riding again this season? Tsunami
Not the best of meetings due to the succession of 5-1 's, shortly after the first bend usually. I am NOT a Fisher fan, but after his last outing here, he has at last learned how to ride Brough. Tonight he was a lone shining light, plus a subdued Gathercole to a lesser degree, and the only excitement on the track was when he was involved, especially the superb heat 9. Hard fair and fast racing. Yes, at Brough Park to anyone from that new grippy track known as Worky. 3 easy points with a poorish crowd, no doubt due to the absence of Barker. Nice to see a decent assembly of Plymouth supporters, and oh how we can sympathise their plight, attending their speedway but bitterly despising the person they were giving their money too. Let's hope what is in the offing comes to fruition and a decent leadership and promotion is installed that their fans trust and can believe in. On your way Mike but you should never have been allowed to promote in the first case. To allow you to continue this year was one of the BSPA's greatest mistakes this year at the last AGM. Here's hoping next year can see you copy the fortunes of Leicester this year.
Pinny
Plymouth be a lot better off when that walking bag of rubbish Bowden leaves the club!
StevePark
Thought it was great that when Fisher finished 3rd in his second ride, he came back into the pits and punched the back wall and yelled out in frustration. It just goes to show he's still got personal pride. As Tsunami said, let's hope the takeover is successful and Plymouth can race on, without Mike Bowden at the helm.

dantodan
Special mention for christian henry for me like been good all season specially at home hope hes back in the team next season Yeah agree. Twice last night Christian came from behind. He is attacking the track and riding aggresively (But not dangerously). Very entertaining stuff from him and I would ask him to come back in 2013. He has overtaken more times this season than I remember him doing last time he was in the team.
The White Knight
One of the highlights of the Meeting for me was in Heat 15. Cory Gathercole (I think it was) did a superb 'lay down' when Lemmo fell in front of him. I don't like to see falls, but when they happen it is great to see someone do the right thing and put the Bike down. He earned a commendation from the Referee - GREATLY deserved. :approve:
