Agree here, we need all 3 points from our remaining home fixtures, and with Barker and Fisher in town they will take some beating tomorrow night  , hopefully our guests can do a decent job because r/r has been our weakness when our reserves have struggled .

Stay safe and good luck !!!!!

Well a good nights entertainment some great passes and racing tonight,, comets completely dominated a one sided meeting but palm toft was breath taking when he missed the gate, Bach and lawson were unstoppable, that's the worst meeting I have ever seen Fisher have at Derwent park his bikes looked very slow

well i wouldnt go as far as both coments above

but

palm toft was very good guest there was some entertainment from richard hall riding like a man posessed rene bach looked good fisher poor by his standards and also when he did gate he gave the position up easy not like him but it was not 1 off the best meetings unless you like seeing walk overs

maybe have been diferent if barker hadnt rode like a 2nd halfer in ht 1 got pushed to the back on first lap and was very close to ashley morris going into 1st bend and tried to close a gap that wasnt there and the 2 touched causing ashley to straighten up and barker went down and took no further part in the meeting

as for fishers bike i watched him trying to set it up in the pits and it was obvious he was having trouble trying allsorts then just before start time he got it sounding much better then started reving it that hard he was lucky not to blow the thing up

Spoiled as a contest when Barker dropped out and them having to use a Nat League rider at 4. Still some good racing though and plenty passing, someone said in the bar that Fisher hasn't been the same since he crashed into the boards a few week ago. Not a good night for the Plymouth fans who made the long journey.

plymouth didnt have to use a national league guest they could have signed a rider weeks ago when nicki glanz stood down due to contract problems and the bspa should have withdrawn the r/r facility a long time ago but at last they have so its a message to all teams theres a few more that have been using r/r almost all season its time it was restricted to the 28 days it supposed to be and no longer

what a waste of 15 quid

Christ were you asleep during it  , some of the moves tonight from the guests were breathtaking they were worth admission alone . A massive thanks must go to Michael Palm Toft and Richard Hall they gave everything and Palm Toft was quite frankly awesome !!!!! The scoreline doesn't do the racing justice

A good night for Tero he was fast out of the starts chuffed for him :t: .

Fisher looked a shadow of the rider he used to be, maybe his bad accident at Peterborough the other week is still affecting him but he was outclassed by the Comets, Barker took Ashley out in heat 1 and paid the consequences with a wrist injury .

A good team performance and more importantly 3 points to the tally :approve:

Agree with most of the comments, some great racing last night, highlight for me was Rene showing Fish his back wheel and returning the compliment of taking him wide in turn 1 after the Fish had taken him right out in the first turn.

Looked like a few had stayed away to possibly watch the GP, hope that was the case because that was a worryingly small crowd.

Good job it wasnt a rider from another club doing that, there would be hell on like normal from Worky

Agreed but tonight they were expecting to use R/R, I believe the dispute is that Glanz has said he's not not been paid.

i believe that is correct but its been going on almost all season the r/r facility is only 28 days not all season like some others have been using

there was nothing wrong with the move its just been made to sound worse than it was from both riders

Some very good racing on a grippy track - Bach, Hall & Palm Toft in particular (showing that not just Comets riders can go for it and attack the track). Plymouth didn't seem interested, particularly after Barker fell in heat one.

Some people in the main stand where delighted when it was announced that Barker had withdrawn from the meeting due to injury. Beggars belief, doesn't it ?

I was disgusted with their attitude. Just goes to show, morons at every track. Good win for the Comets, went a bit flat after 1st heat but some great racing and passing. As the saying goes, you can only beat what's put in front of you.
