salty
Glad to see KK back up and seemingly fit, just to shut up the harbinger of doom that is Pearson.
nw42
both you're not sure either then, it was as though something on the bike gave up, chain or whatever, track looks smooth enough. edit, Gollob nearly went then in a similar place, I think. spook
Not that i'm too bothered but cn anyone actually hear what no cigar Jan is actually saying during the races? Could just be my hearing but it just comes across as muffled nothingness. Preferable to Kelvin and his screaming nonsense tho. ive never felt that he has a voice that fits the part........ his knowledge cant be argued with and he doesnt repeat himself ad nauseum ...... but a commentator or 'colour man' needs more than that .......... he also has impartiality issues

f-s-p
I've met MJJ and a few times and spoke with him also (in english). You people have no idea how much respect is lost hearing him speak danish! He's a class act, hope he wins the U21 after being "forced" to do it by DMU. manchesterpaul
What's the reason Vojens is being dropped for next year? Is it something to do with construction or not at all. Whilst the racing is pretty poor so far, not for the first time at that track, the Italian GP is usually no better and held in front of a minsicule crowd. It's better for the sport to have a crowd of 17,000 (figure quoted by the Sky team) bored to tears than a 3,000 crowd bored to tears lol. Thanks to Paul's gate chart, for what it's worth so far. Red =4 Blue= 1 W=5 Y=2 Heat points from those gates just as bad for blue. 22 12 19 19 Very nice by MJJ. iris123
What's the reason Vojens is being dropped for next year? Is it something to do with construction or not at all. Haderslev council turned down Ole's approach for more funding... and to be honest you( and me) would be surprised at how happy the fans will be if Nicki or another Dane wins.Surprises me at times, but they are so partisan that if a Dane wins they will go home extremely happy(and usually extremely drunk) if a Dane wins.regardless of how poor we at home find the racing Edited September 22, 2012 by iris123

Think it`s more to do with a dispute between ole olsen and the local authorities/council over funding for the track/GP. manchesterpaul
Well Haderslev council turned down Ole's approach for more funding to develope the track further. So no GP or SWC next year... Ouch, wouldn't be so bad except i'm guessing it's not as if Haderslev has many/any other events bringing money in to the town or region like the SGP does. Hardly any passing and when there is the cameras miss it! We've had a year of fantastic GP's but the casual tv viewer was too busy with the Olympics and various other major events to happen upon the speedway. The one weekend when there isn't that much else on and the riders are frequently strung out. Hampel must have Uri Geller tuning his engines tonight. Nice qualification battle looming in heat 20 between Lindgren and MJJ. Only slight problem for them Nicki Pedersen and Emil Sayfutdinov in the race too. Got to admit despite being English i don't think i'd miss Chris Harris trundling around when one could have one of the new rising stars, or rider's showing much better ability who are on the verge of a wild card place. It is a great shame as Harris can be a fantastic racer and he poured a lot of money into his equipment this year. His absence wouldn't stop me watching a GP for one second. XTC38L
Not sure what caused KK to fall then, any ideas? Was it the bike or the track? Both. He hit the deep dirt and the primary chain snapped
nw42
Both. He hit the deep dirt and the primary chain snapped Cheers for that, wasn't aware of the chain going. I backed Holder to win the meeting after the first race, @ 7/2, he's currently @ 4/1 to win the final, tempted to have another small wager on him/
manchesterpaul
The tv team talking about riders being cautious picking up injuries before the final round. I always check the news from the injury carnage that Poland has become on a Sunday with bated breath.

manchesterpaul
God forbid if Holder doesn't make the final as Nicki wil be like a demon possessed in the final with a chance to take the championship lead ahead of next week. Forget about the rule don't try to pass Nicki on the outside, just don't dare try pass him anywhere.
