Rob B
THINK they have tried just about every month at one time or another but it ALWAYS rains in Vojens... Yep reckon we have been to Vojens about 10 times at different times of year and always rains at some point over the weekend!
PHILIPRISING
PEEING down here in Kolding this morning and at Vojens about 25 miles away. The covers are down and it is forecast to rain all day. Will be very surprised if practice goes ahead. Should be a break in the rain tomorrow, especially the evening. Imagine covers will stay on for as long as possible.

iris123
Yep reckon we have been to Vojens about 10 times at different times of year and always rains at some point over the weekend! I have been to a few wonderfully sunny meetings in Vojens.Mostly 80cc i think. But i do remember going up on a lovely saturday morning for a div 1 meeting and came off the motorway and after a few miles noticed puddles on the road which got worse the closer i got to Vojens. When i got to the track i could see by the lack of activity that the meeting had been called off, turned around and went back out of the Vojens rain belt into the sun again
manchesterpaul
Seems like we will have normal vojens weather on Saturday-cloud,sun showers some possibly heavy-might be better in evening. If Phillip Rising is reading this,to save a 200 word epistle from Manchester paul is the draw confirmed at 14.00 hrs local or 17.00 hours ? Lol. Actually on second thoughts i take that back as it would be funny if it had a true foundation to it. So 200 word reply to accusation follows lol lol. Hold on before i continue......a 'pre-emption' (have i invented a new word there?) for the benefit of R&R and others who AS OF RIGHT NOW have surpassed their cerebral capacity of reading a post more than a few words long. It's a discussion forum and as such civil and level-headed topics stretch to......shock! horror!......more than a couple of paragraphs. Anyways, i've started so i'll continue...... Last 4 Racecards and reference to the draw time when posting....CAN YOU SPOT THE 200 WORD EPISTLE? I'm guessing adding up wasn't your strong point in school R&R! NORDIC The draw is listed as an early one on both the main and draw pages of the official site at 14:00 Local time (13:00BST). SCANDINAVIAN The draw is listed as an early one at 13:00 Local time (12:00BST). Hopefully, this isn't the website leaving a legacy from the page for the previous British GP's early draw. It will be good news for several reasons if they are reverting to the early draws. BRITISH Just over one day away - yep it's an early draw for a change - so available in the EARLY afternoon following the draw on Friday (13:00 BST) are the TWO different versions of the MiniMax Racecard. ITALIAN Made no comment. I do remember replying to someone once who asked "does it matter" and i merely gave valid reasons why it did. Incidentally, nice to see they seem to be reverting to early draws again. Probably because........(ok i've covered that subject before) Edited September 21, 2012 by manchesterpaul
PHILIPRISING
16.30 local time here and it has stopped raining. But it has been lashing it down. Thanks heavens for the covers. Should be okay tomorrow. Lots of people, including riders, sitting around twiddling their thumbs. Not much to do here at the best of times but under a grey sky and rain it's pretty dismal. No indication from Bjarne Pedersen that he won't be riding.
iris123
And for anyone staying around over the weekend you could take in a meeting on sunday at Brokstedt(just about an hour away from Vojens).Star 14:00.Line up includes Wölbert,Dilger,Kroner,Kylmäkorpi,Cam Woodward.... PHILIPRISING
SORRY but I haven't got a clue! Just going to breakfast at our hotel in Kolding and it is a dry morning. The covers will have done their job hopefully.

PHILIPRISING
BLUE sky and sunny right now. Might be a shower early afternoon but then okay. Ole will have covers off asap and get some air to the track but riders wopn't be allowed on. All iof them know the track well and its the same for everybody. Saw Nigel Pearson at breakfast. He says UK forecast for Lakeside and Birmingham on Monday is for rain to clear by the afternoon. However, if one or both are rained off they will be restaged the following Monday with the finals going back a week.

I think nigel pearson is being a tad optimistic after watching the forecasts this morning i`d say no chance on both !! The first few heats tonight will be more than interesting if no one has been on the track starts will be vital then until a few heats into the meeting.
