crescent girl
It will be a shame if the track isn't prepared for good racing. Let's get this clear. You are a Newcastle fan?
dantodan
Let's get this clear. You are a Newcastle fan? Yep but even more importantly I like speedway and wanna see good racing (despite who wins) every where I go and pay my admission. At Newcastle we usually see at least one opposition rider scorch the track so it is usually good for racing. I am not criticising Shielfield just responding to previous posts suggesting Berwicks track is not good for racing. I am coming up to cockleland hoping for entertainment with a capital E er thats all crescent girl but we will win by 10 points
the muck man
Let's get this clear. You are a Newcastle fan? I am a newcastle fan but i also enjoy going to berwick, i agree the track has been gate and go lately but i think this suits berwick at the moment due to injurys i.e complin and ashworth being out this only realy leaves alden who is prepared to put his back wheel in the deep stuff like i said they need a good guest to replace ashworth grieves lucked good, i can only see a diamonds win, from a diamonds point of veiw i feel lemo isnt the same rider donte no if its down to recent injurys or has his minde on other things (management). i think lingren will be the man to beat on saterday,

dantodan
Yeah Muckman, This is as good a chance as we have had recently of a win at Shielfield. Lemo has been a bit hit or miss this year. Robbo always manages a few points up there but we need a big hitter and lets hope Ludvig is the one to cover himself in glory on the back of his maximum last sunday. Christian may have been thrown to the Lions (well tigers) at Sheffield on Thursday but he is a decent point scorer at Berwick. This leaves Claes at reserve. He holds Newcastles success at Berwick in his Claws (Claes get it? nah well forget it) Go on Ned you can win us a match. Still think we can do it. I always think newcastle will win away by 10 points Ho Ho! I will be up there for a cheap nights speedway £10.00 is great, might even take the wife (oh no! what have I said) Gulp! Newcastle by 10 points

Newcastle by 10 points Lemon is your key man IMO in previous seasons he has been superb when he has gated (which was most of the time) He has tailed of a little this season but if he puts his gating boots on he will be hard to beat. Morris is a good guest choice for Berwick but if Barrett is fit I feel Newcastle will have slight advantage, certainly will be the toughest opposition he has faced at Shielfield. dantodan
In the Newcastle team all but Stuart Robson can make the gate and Stuart is great at coming from behind. I am praying that Lemo will lead the team with a decent score, we need all of our riders to score a bit more than their PL averages. Ludvig and Claes are my riders to watch and if they get amongst the points we will win. Looking forward to this one

mike7164
Ah well it seems I am gonna watch a series of "who gates wins heats". Now! the Diamonds, with the exception of Robbo, are good gaters, so our riders might like the track even if, I as a supporter will not. I only come to Berwick about twice a season. I am a fan of Berwicks 4th bend. I remember way back 1998 (I Think) Nicki Pedersen clattering the 4th bend boards and bouncing off to win. Lee Complin was another who has entertained me by attacking that corner. It will be a shame if the track isn't prepared for good racing. If Berwick and other tracks struggle to retain support maybe it is worth risking home defeats by producing a track for good racing. Stay away fans might like to spend their money knowing that they will see good racing. As always I say I hope Newcastle entertain and yes we will come away with a 50-40 win. What? snore me dreaming again!!! I've got the video of that me thinks.
screm
Let's get this clear. You are a Newcastle fan? But our recent meetings have been gate and go,whether thats by luck or design. Tsunami
After last night poor result and performance, maybe Saturday will bring more joy as we go hunting for points. Much will depend on Berwick's guests but the performances of the reserves, especially the senior one Ned, will be what decides who gets the points. Great £10 offer from the Berwick promotion for this meeting so lets hope the travelling Diamonds fans attend in their masses and get behind the team to try and take all the points. crescent girl
Unless Micky Dyer is ruled out after his crash and withdrawal last nite at Redcar, Berwick will only have one guest, who is Nick Morris.

Taylorj
Ok Bandits Newcastles record at Shielfield Park has not been great over the years. If the track has grip Newcastle will do well. Lay a fair track and we will entertain. I am coming up so there is another 10 quid in the bank account. Great move by your promoters to reduce admission I hope it pays off for them Forecast? Well as usual Newcastle to win 50-40 but a point will do, I am not a greedy person  Just seen this !!!!! And thats from a Brough Park fan , absolute classic
crescent girl
No sir, if it were a question it would have a question mark. Also, to form such a question, the comma after "guest" would have been a full stop.
