Firestone1
So it will be 3rd time lucky tomorrow as Workington travel to face the Leicester Lions. Rohan Tungate and Carl Wilkinson guest for the Comets, so hopefully we can come away with all the points and a similar score to the KOC match a few weeks ago. stemoc
Well done to Leicester, looks like you have more or less secured your place in the top 6 and well deserved. as Topaz says Rene and Rich provided the bulk of the points for us well supported by Rohan ( many thanks). We are clearly missing Adam, Kyle and Kenny but who is out there that we can sign before the deadline (12th September I think)

Taylorj
Well done Leicester. A good effort from a 3 man team , we really need a signing or two asap, the remaining lads are certainly missing Adam, Kyle,Kenny. God knows who but hopefully we can pull a rabbit out of the hat by the cut-off date for signings
wandersome
Good meeting. Good win. Meeting ran in good time as the new shale seemed to mean less tractor driving. Magnus and Lewis were doing the business. I think the crowd were physically willing those performances out of them. Heat 2 with Lewis and Ashley was the best race i've seen at BP. Opponents manager failed to make the TR call rather than Leicester for once. I fear saying it but i took my rose tinted off and the crowd still looked to be a very, very, very good. Richard Lawson and Rene Bach were as good as ever at BP. Hate to tempt fate but my guess would be that everyones reasonably happy, no? Mick. You are spot on, I thought the crowd was the best I've seen down there for many a week........so much for the doom merchants(Robert72,Lionsden,etc).
