em1500uk
Good luck to Nicolai He's definitely got the ability, I just hope he gets his confidence back! And as for Andersson, I thought he looked a shadow of his former self when Poole was at the NA a few weeks back... Then again, he might fit in well with his fellow countryman Sebastian Alden. Bagpuss
I think he was several meetings behind other riders too in terms of race fitness. He wouldn't be my choice necessarily but knows the tracks over here and his average fits, and I think he could offer more than Nicolai and David. em1500uk
Can kinda see where you're coming from in terms of offering more. Before he got injured last season he did look good and we know what he can score. He has had a lengthy spell out after breaking his leg (think that's what happened to him?) so he might take a while to get going. I'd rather have someone who knows the tracks over here racing for us rather than taking a big chance on a completely new rider who's never been round the EL circuits before looking at it that way. Oh and by the way, nice canary
Haza
I'd say no chance with Andersen for starters he wasn't even going race over here till injuries hit Poole just can't see it happening .

Bagpuss
Yep totally lost faith in Hughton so his picture had to go. I hope Haza is right, I don't particularly want Andersson but I wouldn't be suprised if it is him.

I hope if we are going to make a new signing by end of the month I hope it's a rider that's not contracted to another club lets sign a rider that we can make an asset my choice would be Michal Michealson he's rode at Lynn when team Denmark had an early season practice session I,m sure he couldn't commit to the UK because of exams maybe by end of May this won't be a problem he's young and the sort of rider we should be gong for long term . Just remember you have just signed a Kings Lynn cast off fact I think Klindt is being written off rather prematurely this year, the season is still young. The decision by Lynn to sack him may yet prove to be a mistake, only time will tell.
Daniel Smith
Well, worrying times for us Stars fans. Started the season in great hope & very quickly things have turned bad. It seems that now David Howe is on the injury list along side Korneliussen, Schlein & Stead. We've managed to hang in there at the top end of the league but if this continues our season is going to crash & burn just as quick.

Get rid of Howe (5.87) and bring in Kenneth Hansen (5.83)
T.N.T.
After watching Wolves beat Kings Lynn 53-39 at Monmore Green and while I conceed that they are having injury problems at the moment, they are going to struggle to stay in contention if they continue like this as their best two riders were both guests in Jason Doyle and Josh Grajczoneck who gained 22 between them and with their new combined averages being so high, they can only now sign like for like. Is Seb Alden a 6.13 rider ? ...... Is David Howe going to improve on a 5.87 average ? Personally feel that they may have released Nicolai Klindt at the wrong time as he would have now been at reserve with Simon Stead and Ritchie Worrall at #2 which has the potential to improve or at least be match winners. Question is, could they get a better rider with 6.13 than Seb Alden ..... like Leon Madsen 6.10 (unlikely) or Robert Miskowiak 5.81 (is he going back to Poole) or Jonas Davidsson 5.93. Bagpuss
Have a look at Alden's scores, why would we get rid of him? Has been a revelation. Howe is a temporary signing and will soon be replaced. Screamer is correct, if the injury situation doesn't improve our season is going down the gurgler so lets just hope once they are all back riding they stay fit. This is why TNT doesn't understand Speedway, It's not a sport played on a calculator. How the hell could Rob Lyon go to Seb Alden with a straight face and say to him that he's being replaced... and another fantasy draft list created by TNT which includes Leon "I'm never riding in England" Madsen and Robert "I'm riding for Poole" Miskowiak along with Jonas Davidsson which isn't an imporvement on Seb. As for the new rider, Could it be maybe Mikkel Michelsen or Mikkel Bech Jensen, It could well be as they are on assessed 5.50's If I am not mistaken Edited May 7, 2013 by Jepsen Jensen Fan Club
Haza
I think there is a bit of over reaction we lost at Wolves that ain't the end of the world - now if we continue losing that is a problem - lets get Rory and Mads back in action and I'm sure we will be fine . As for Alden you can't fault his efforts how anyone can say drop him I don't no . Not sure who will replace Howe but looks to me as if that will happen . But don't panic that's all I say .

Agreed. cannot see the need to panic. The Stars are 2nd for a reason and put up a decent fight with hardly any of the current 1-7. Injuries to any team can make it difficult but the Stars put up a much better fight than many expected.
Daniel Smith
Who's panicking???? Nobody is screaming for changes just that we're suffering injury after injury right now. Over time, having to constantly use guests & r/r will have a serious affect on where we finish. There is a lot to be said for stability & team spirit and that will be slowly lost. Fingers crossed when all return we stay away from further injuries and all will be perfect
