semion
It also results in a product that loses an awful lot of its appeal. But Star, these are the cards that are dealt. You cannot live in the past. This is affordable Speedway for today. You either ride with it, or walk away. You always have the choice. em1500uk
I dont get why people are surprised that riders who double up are going to have problems riding for 2 teams in this Country. I would suggest that Buster's main concern would be to make sure that riders signed are available for every home meeting. Lynn are lukcy in the respect as we have a Wednesday as our home night, with the odd off night thrown in here and there ( Sky, Bank Hols etc). The facts are using D/U is a cost saving expercise and couple that together with not enough riders to go around, gives you the answer why we have them. Thats Speedway 2013. I don't get why people are so surprised either! This is how the EL has been for a few years now. Can only see more of it happening myself.
Haza
Some people are never happy we are having our best season in the EL since 2000 and all some do is moan are we in this league just to make the numbers up or are we in it to win it ??? Kozza was dropped because he wasn't performing and so was Klindt - Worrell has more than earned his team place now we wait to see if Howe can out score Klindt and let's be honest that wont be hard to do . Bagpuss
I have to a agree, on the whole I believe people are more interested in a winning side than keeping riders who are popular. Look at the crowd that turned up at Lynn FC last night to see them win the league. Personally I'd feel shortchanged if changes weren't made that can strengthen the team. Trees
I think there should be loyalty though, riders are human, they have financial responsibilities! If they have the potential to do well and it doesn't happen immediately but not through the lack of trying then they deserve time . . . . foreverblue
If you have chance to strengthen the team why wouldn't you, klindt was awful last week against Poole, can't believe anybody wanted to keep and he has never fulfilled his potential in my opinion. I think there should be loyalty though, riders are human, they have financial responsibilities! If they have the potential to do well and it doesn't happen immediately but not through the lack of trying then they deserve time . . . . Do you think Klindt looked like he was trying against Poole last week, he was half a lap behind our reserves. Do you think riders are loyal, most riders don't think about loyalty to their team so why should their team be loyal to them when they are under performing. em1500uk
I stand corrected about David Howe. Seems he is going to try and get to Wolverhampton on Monday after riding for Scunthorpe. Scunthorpe meeting starts at 3pm and should end at about 5pm so he might just make it.

em1500uk
That's what I was told after the meeting last night anyway. Apparently that was announced but I never heard!
baldinhio
Not sure if I like 'win at all costs' speedway! If David doesn't do the biz, he'll be gone, where does it end!! Kings Lynn, the new Peterborough! A difficult call as whilst one could argue clubs should show a degree of loyalty to riders I totally understand the desire to win and keep audiences at reasonable levels(The audience at Coventry on Monday looked awful). One option could be no changes other than for injury until, say,14 matches were complete. As it stands, I guess Peterborough will shortly join Lynn in making changes albeit probably too late to make a difference.

mdmc82
Rory got knocked unconsious so has to stay in hospital for observation. Seeing doctor in couple of days to see when he can race again. Big blow for King's Lynn.
speedy17
New rider in the Klindt/Howe position coming in a month apparently. Who do we all think it is? I can only presume it's someone who's going to really strengthen up and increase their average, or a new assessed rider. For someone already on an average Peter Ljung or Kenneth Hansen spring to mind. If we're looking at a new foreigner then Bogdanovs, Loktaev or Mikkelson are hot prospects. Can't see Mikkel B Jensen over here this year.

Bagpuss
Klindt appears to have signed for Peterborough then. Wondering if the new man might be Dennis Andersson once he has finished his stint at Poole?
Trees
Yep seems he's been released, no way back, so off to the Panthers, good luck to him, hope it works out and he rides to his full potential!
