King's Lynn Stars 2013

Recommended Posts

Panthers want to use Iversen but Lynn have offered him a better deal so he doesn't want to ride for the Panthers.

It isn't about money. Niels wants to ride where his heart is, somewhere where he's appreciated. Somewhere he is respected as a top rider....

But don't Panthers hold Iversens contract? I'm sure Niels wants to ride for Lynn, but what happens if the Panthers insist they want him in their team, could turn nasty I suspect especially with all the local rivalry and possibly money involved. I wonder why he was announced in the team, when its clearly not sorted yet?

If the clubs can't agree, Stars can always go to arbitration, like last year when the precedent was set by Poole....... :D

Difference was Miedzinski was refusing to sign for Swindon because of pay problems in the past according to some people on this forum.

There's no difference, Niels doesn't want to ride for the Panthers....... The reasons are irrelevant...

Not a bad little side and all are committed to uk speedway ...and remember Kl fans Simon Stead is very nice guy even if he's crap away from home .

You can have Janowski back, at least Simon Stead will ride with his heart.

Who said Niels doesn't want to ride for the Panthers?

Did Niels say it himself or was it more garbage from the Lynn promotion?

Was it from Rob "Im going to quit" Lyon?

Iversen is good friends with Swales and Frost so I can tell you now that the Lynn promotion are lying, The Panthers probably don't even want to use Iversen but their assessing their options.

Iversen HAS said: "If I can't ride for King's Lynn next season then I will not ride in the UK next year, thats all I have to say." SIMPLES!

Instead of Alden, They could have signed Zabik.

They dropped the ball big time there.

So says the one who apparently knows everything

Because Panthers don't pay much compared to other clubs.

Panthers got Niels as an asset for peanuts, they have made a profit on him through Loan fees.

Looking back to last night it was an enjoyable meeting, I think next year they will have to look for a bigger room, the place was packed out, to the point where you had a job to see anything and had to rely on your ears….

I think the Chapmans and Rob Lyons have done a brilliant job in securing this team. But to do it in such a short time as this is admirable. All these riders in this new team perform really well at Saddlebow road, and I can imagine the Stars being in contention for honours next year. There will be some worried promoters out there this morning, as the Stars have laid down a marker for the strength of teams in next years Elite league.

I look forward with optimism, Who knows, the 47 year wait might be coming an end…..
