King's Lynn Stars 2013

It has already been answered really!

Lets see how he does in the Lynn match, give him a few weeks to settle in. At least KJB is getting back to his best, and he was being written off by some only last week.

I'm of the impression that David Howe is only a pawn in the big picture and his services will be terminated once this 'new rider' becomes available . Probably Howe is aware of this and quite frankly is so pissed off with the situation , he couldn't give a damn.......... and could you blame him? Who said winning was everything........

Rubbish. No doubt he was asked 'do you fancy a month in the EL to earn a few extra bob' and jumped at the chance. As orion has said signing David Howe isn't going to win us the EL, and if the new man is a bit of a marquee signing then its all very exciting.

Howe knows his services are temporary. He's even said so in interviews but he will give his all to score points. He appreciates the club gave him the call to have a go. The most important thing is he scores points at home, away from home we're bound to struggle a little as the mechanics of the team have been thrown all over due to injury.

Barring anything happening this weekend we should be back to a full 7 man team on Wednesday.

The amount of injuries our riders have picked up so far this season is actually more of a concern

Even if David Howe was bought in to enable another rider to come in soon (as seems to be the case), then I would think he would want to score big to make the decision more difficult....especailly if he started scoring like he was last season before he got injured.

Simon rode tonight for Sheffield at Rye House and managed to stay out of trouble so it seems. He scored 9 points. I think he'll be OK for Wednesday. Mads' fixture for Ostrow in the Polish I Liga has been called off tomorrow and rearranged for this coming Friday instead. Niels' fixture for Gorzow tomorrow has also been called off. No rearranged date yet. Although, Rory and Simon both have meetings in Poland tomorrow in I Liga and II Liga that are still in place and not affected by rain so far, so we'll have to keep an eye on those two, but fingers crossed that they do stay out of trouble!

Or score badly to get his average down so he can sign for someone else. If I knew I was definitely going to be sacked then I wouldn't try that hard as now his average is going to be nearer 4.5 than 6 and probably worth someone picking him up.

Exactly. He didn't have to sign but, according to what we keep reading, speedway riders need the money.

I was thinking that we were nailed on for play-offs, but now doubts are creeping in. For a team built with strength in depth, we are losing our ‘depth’ due to INJ to Mads, Stead and Seb.

Mads was superb before his injuries, and arguably Seb and Steady have been our best riders this season in terms of riding above their averages. We cannot cope without all these 3 riders at the same time.

This is compounded by the whole Klindt, now Howe situation at 2 and Rory not really delivering either. Niels and Richie cannot paper over the cracks themselves.

Looking at the matches coming up, Poole away and then the improving Panthers come to the NA. We could lose both matches quite easily.

I don't know, I just hope it's done before next Monday otherwise we'll be in trouble.

Mikkel Bech Jensen is who everyone is hoping for i think, few whispers going around it might be true...

I,m not convinced it will be him - but I agree we need to make it before next Monday at Poole .
