Just caught up with this topic. Why on earth would Lynn want to get rid of Alden, hes been flying all season no matter the position hes riding in.

Id have to get rid of Howe, a pathetic signing from the off . Klindt had been terrible but a good talking to and a spell at reserve would of done him the world of good, i expect him to go well for Peterborough now hes ended up there and his foreign scores are improving.

If you replace Howe with Andersson you wont get near the EL title. You need a solid six pointer.

To be fair when I suggested Andersson it was a case of putting two and two together, having looked at his scores for Poole I think anyone would be mad to give him a job at the moment. The Howe signing has worked out for whatever reason but I expect he's only got next Wednesday left to ride in before he'll be replaced.

I think anyone who thinks Seb 'golden gates' Alden should leave must be on crack or something  Bar the 0 he got at Lakeside and the 3+1 he got at Wolverhampton (both of which were slightly disappointing) he's been a revelation, in fact, I'd go as far as to say that he's been our hero and saviour on several occasions, particularly at home in the latter stages of a meeting. Going up into the top 5 is a big step up for him from riding at reserve. Right now, he's done his best, and that's all we can ask for.

Alden is going nowhere. Sure he struggles on the tight cornered tracks, but at faster tracks he's superb.

Although I felt gutted when it happened, Klindt had to be shipped out when he was to maintain his/the teams 5.68 pt average. Howe was bought in to babysit that average (which he may just about do!) for a month. At the end of the month, I expect Howe to be replaced with another rider, perhaps someone who is on an assessed 5.50 average?.....

I too was gutted when Howe replaced Klindt, and I understand the logic behind the move. But it doesn't make it right messing riders about. Only time will tell it the positives outweigh all the negatives. I know fans want to support a winning side, but they also want some continuity of the team....As far as I'm concerned the jury is out at the moment..... What would be a better insentitive for Klindt, then to perform for our biggest rivals . This could come back to bite us........

You'll be "Nicolai Who?" when we bring in a young Danish World Cup winner!!!

On a 5.5 average? Surely World Cup winners would come in on at least a 6!

I would think so.

Tho the reduction generally only applies to Poole. They have a reduction for Piotr, its only a matter of time before its for Beck :P

Klindt has made an encouraging start for P'boro this evening.....time will tell if it was a cock up letting him go but you'd have thought the management have something pretty special up their sleeves.

Klindt will be better round Peterborough than Lynn. Corners are plenty wide enough so he doesn't have to shut off.

If we sign Mikkel B this will be a master stroke.

At least Howe never has to shut off as he so far behind by the first two bends .

To have a team that can challenge for the title, you have to have riders that can on their day beat anyone and in Iversen, Schlein and Korneliussen they have that. Trouble is, when Mads or Rory are slightly off form, they can be woeful and offer little support to Iversen who is now a regular double figure points scorer.

Maybe this "new" signing will add a bit of strength to the team as they already have quality second strings in Alden, Stead and Worrall to form a seven man team that could on their day hit 60 points against anyone, but could also struggle to reach 40 even with tacticals another.

Kings Lynn, Wolves and Swindon will be there come the play offs, its all a question of who joins them (Birmingham in my opinion) and who finishes the strongest in the final weeks which could easily be Kings Lynn
