Bagpuss
Good news for Stars fans that prices are being kept the same at £16 (Adults). I guess having no (or very little) stadium rental to pay helps the finances for the speedway. Its a shame it can't happen throughout speedway. Worth pointing out also that Buster came in just over 20 years ago with virtually nothing and risked that to buy the stadium and then gradually build it up to one of the best motorsport venues in the UK. His hard work has put him in the position to be able to keep costs down for supporters for which I am certainly very grateful.
BluPanther
Yep, fair point, but come on blu, you must admit the 'Swindongate' saga on the Swindon 2013 thread is becoming very tedious. Wouldn't you rather talk about the fact that you guys have put a decent side together and probably stand a good chance of nicking some points off of the Robins at Blunsdon? I agree, and i said as much on your thread four days ago. Time to move things along and look foward to my speedway at the EOES and Lynn...Yep, we could nick a point off you this year, maybe. Noodles
I made one comment about irony - I can't help it if panthers fans set off on one Yes of course, it wasn't an inflammatory comment at all was it? Still english roundabout obviously missed it, he must have blinkers on.
Crump99
With Crump 99,Noodles, and Blupanther already talking about the much trodden Swindon situation on the Kings Lynn thread, it only requires Vincent Blackshadow and you have a full house!! He's a card ain't he!

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Lets be fair to the Boro fans - with all their riders at other clubs they have to infiltrate other threads or have nothing to talk about!!

Ouch! Be fair though, we've tried to offload some them but other clubs only want loan and return so we get the grief. How can we concentrate on our own thread in such circumstances?

Perhaps do what promoters and fans do ---- accept that usually clubs help each other with loan deals as has been the norm for years now. Just a thought. Just a thought. Whilst you're having all of these thoughts have you thought why we've played along quite happily without problems for years up until this winter when it seems to have gone a bit pear shaped? See what you can come up with as to why that might be.

stevebrum
Panthers are doing, they've even loaned Kacper to Swindon. So are Aces, so are Wolves etc. Non have demanded a transfer for a rider they cant use. Whilst you're having all of these thoughts have you thought why we've played along quite happily without problems for years up until this winter when it seems to have gone a bit pear shaped? See what you can come up with as to why that might be. I take you are not including the winter of discontent? It was going pear shaped before that. I could give your post some thought if it was better thought out.

I haven't bothered to actually count, but I'd reckon that Peterborough are loaning more riders out than any other club with no problems. Maybe there's a reason why they're acting as they are in this particular case

Two well thought out questions, in your own time! You call those well thought out? To suggest (as you did previously) that all was well with promoters until this season shows that these are questions that are not well thought out at all. Now, do you actually have any that can provide some debate? Edited March 7, 2013 by stevebrum

Now, do you actually have any that can provide some debate? It's not a weakness to admit that you've no idea although most people will have grasped that already. Anyway, we must let the Lynn folk discuss their own issues, toodle pip!

Yeah, but when directed to let Puk and Hans go on loan they complied. Pity some other clubs can't accept MC directives.
