Scandinavian Gp Malilla Saturday 8th September

Recommended Posts

After managing to get the official SGP website owners to correct their contradictory draw times for the SGP (and others throughout the season), is there confusion again?

Emblazoned on both their front page and on the subsequent link to the draw is a time of 13:00 Local time (which is 12:00 BST). It's now nearing 14:30 Local and 13:30 BST with no sign of activity!

I mentioned elsewhere that "Hopefully, this isn't the website leaving a legacy from the page for the previous British GP's early draw. It will be good news for several reasons if they are reverting to the early draws"

Anyone know the time of the draw?

The draw should be at the usual time; 17.15 local time.

Cheers for your reply but.......Define usual! it certainly does not mean 'every' time as far as the SGP draw goes lol.

They've actually changed it now to 17:15 Local time on the draw page and removed the time altogether on the front page of their site. Thanks again anyway.

BLUE sky this morning and a good weather forecast. Track was in fantastic condition for yesterday's practice having had new shale on it a couple of weeks ago.

Lindback, Lindgren and Bjarne Pedersen all skipped practice, Vaculik as usual only did half, but after a sunny day it was decidely chilly in the evening and will probably be so again tonight.

Nightmare draw for Sayfutdinov so maybe not such a good bet after all. Conditions will probably suit Holder, the fastest man in the field, and on a track where different lines are always available that could be crucial. But don't rule out Hancock just yet ... he was very focused in practice and there is still no substitute for experience.

Evening, let's hope for another good one in an excellent GP season.

Big welcome back to Jarek Hampel too.

Nice start to the meeting for Greg after the first race with Holder and Crump dropping points lol.

Heat 3 another rival drops a point so if Greg wins his first heat you've got to give him his rightful respect as he keeps on chugging along.
