Travertine
Im sure there is,but I cant see any reason for NUFC to be kicking off at 4pm .................. TV calling the shots - they pay the big bucks, and get to dictate the kick-off time.
screm
TV calling the shots - they pay the big bucks, and get to dictate the kick-off time. Agreed but this game isnt on SKY today, the 2 SKY games are Liverpool v Arsenal at 1-30pm,followed by Southampton v Man Utd at 4.
NJC71
Match is not on TV. No obvious reason for it being 4pm and not 3pm. If no Lemo then presumably we can only use r/r and a guest for Richie.

Poor little old speedway eh lol.

Chewbacca
Almost too easy. I'm pleased Mellgren was there to at least show some fight in some races for Rye. His 14 should have been 17 as he had seen off Robbo and Lindgren in ht15 before he forgot to turn left on the 4th bend. Can I just say once again, how delighted I am with Christian Henry? He is riding Brough Park as well, or even better, than when he was our #1
The White Knight
I must say that I was quite impressed with young Paul Starke last night. I think this Rider has great potential.
Chewbacca
Must be good. He beat a Grand Prix rider fair and square!
screm
Giving the amount of review posts on this meeting, can we take it that it wasnt excatly a classic.
Chewbacca
Nope. RH weren't making the gate often enough to make it interesting. Our gating tarts were on fire and even the poor gaters like Robbo were hitting the first turn ahead.

Don't judge him against that shower of s*ite. He was okish in the NL meeting at Rye, nothing special. He has a 4 point NL average for a reason. Tsunami
Giving the amount of review posts on this meeting, can we take it that it wasnt excatly a classic. It was too easy without any fight from the Rockets screm. Apart from the first heat win Pijper was very average, as I thought he would be. Certainly Mellgren got better and faster as the night went on, and would have won heat 15 had he not had a lapse of concentration and drifted alarmingly across the fourth bend and nearly into the fence. Lykke was better than his points, particularly later in the meeting. The rest did nowt. Very confident Diamond team, and I agree that Christian looks so good and balanced on a bike these days. He has a bite now, to add to his gating skills, and has even learned to fight and pass from the back now. Definately one of the success stories of the season. A very good signing as is LL, what a character. All the Diamonds rode well and, if we can continue this sort of form, we will be getting some decents wins to get us back on top of the league, and be in a great position to challenge in the playoffs for the actual title. Bring it on.
crescent girl
Sounds like you Diamonds are full of confidence just now. C'mon up to Berwick on Saturday (£10 to get in, children free) and we'll find out how good you are!

I agree it was pretty much Ist corner stuff, dont know why the outside of the 3rd /4th bend is so deep that no one attempts any outside pass till about HT 10.There used to be more than one line round that bend . Berwick has nearly always had decent passing around the outside of the second bend, and even more dramatic passing off the forth bend like a slingshot. I remember even Willie overtaking there against us despite his usual line. Need a bit of bottle mind on the 4th to do it.

Alden was the only person who lucked like he had the speed or the pair between his legs to pass any 1 on saterday in the bandits line up missing complin and ashworth big time unless they get a decent guest for ashworth can only see a diamonds win expecting lingren to have good meeting he is flying at the minute.
