Dudley The Underdogs ?

Seriously Shadders, we do have some weaknesses, and i have an horrible feeling, I just hope it is wrong, You know Stefan and JJ will both be feeling very confident, that they can beat our Heat Leaders, especially after the Under 19 result. We have chances obviously, some of our supporters think we only have to turn up to win, myself i am far from of that opinion.

From what I've seen you'll just have enough, but it will be close. Depends how Joe Haines does.

Two good sides Shadders. Reserves possibly Dudley to shade, although TRD has come in very well in the last couple of meetings, if he can gate with the rest he is a real battler and Gareth will be pushing hard after his bad injury last year. If Cam returns Mildy have a strong Top 4, Lewis has come back with a bang.

I think the difference could be Dan Halsey - if he rides like he can take Mildy to shade it.

I expect 4 tight meetings though and good entertainment for the neutrals.

Both teams have lost their no1's , Dudley have replaced theirs and the Tigers haven't . Even if Cam were to come back in time he would be seriously rusty !

Initially Isherwood seems to be an inspirational choice of replacement for Josh after tonight's meeting at Stoke but that was his home track prior to injury so only time will tell .

I believe Dudley must be favourites for both cup and league but think they would be pretty close and feisty affairs if that's how things pan out !

Man for man I would say,

Heeps 10 V Haines 9, For me Cam very, very, very slightly edges this.

Jacobs 8 V Greenwood 6, This is definately JJ having the edge.

Nielsen 9 V Perry 9, Two of the most exciting youngsters in the country, Nielsen for his gating.

Halsey 5 V Bekker 7, Byron clearly has the edge in this match up.

Blackbird 8 V Morris 9, again almost to close to call but, Morris very, very slightly.

Terry-Daley 3 V Ritchings 6, Have to give this to Ritchings, clearly.

Isherwood 5 V White-Williams 4, Isherwood has the edge.

So to summarise; Nielsen, Jacobs and Blackbird are all riding in a rich vein of form at this moment in time, Perry, Morris and Bekker and more or less cancel each other out, but i give a slight edge to Mildenhall, the imponderables are Heeps <been injured> and Haines <not ridden yet>, Halsey and Greenwood, are about on par, Isherwood and RT, again are pretty evenly matched Ritchings is the better rider, Isherwood is better than WW, but much could depend on how RT does at home, or on how WW goes at Monmore Wood. So maybe NO clear favourite, but definately The Fen Tigers have the edge over us, Trophy wise, and all to play for still.

Should be some feisty meetings, with much loud banter, and hopefully good natured comments from BOTH sets of supporters, incidentally i am reffering to the KO Cup final, play off Semis, still have to be decided.

Thats right adz, guests only allowed for a No1, should be able to cover at home on Tuesday, but away at Stoke is a different matter altogether, and looking ahead if we do qualify for the PO Finals, i am wondering if there is a signing that we could make, i am not au fait with all the rules, i know the signing deadline has passed, but in past seasons riders have been signed when another team has completed its fixtures, failing that, then the Trophies are Mildenhalls for the taking, because The Heathens are certainly not strong enough to cover for Byron away from home with RR, maybe Jayne could enlighten us on this.

tough one, iinjuries are an issue, we are currently lucky that Bates has come back, but if we hadnt lost him or Nathan at all, then I think we would be un-stoppable.

Alot hangs on who we can get to cover for Heeps, Garrity would be my choice if available.

Gutted to hear about Byron. Top bloke and a proper rider. Sad too to hear about Lewis Blackbird who broke his collarbone tonight. This time of year should have been great with the 2 teams at full strength, but with the news also that Cameron Heeps season is over has taken the shine off it somewhat. Great shame. Lets hope we can have some good racing with the teams we got.
