Cardiff Date For 2013

Thought you were on holiday

Planned to take my kids away that week as it's half term, but they'll have to wait until July when the summer term ends ;)

If anyone wants to stay in the area but isnt bothered about being in the centre of Cardiff, the Cardiff M4 travelodge is only £29 a room for the Saturday night at the moment!

Just gone up to £32.50 Corny :).Family room available for Fri and Sat night for £65.00 total (Non refundable) or £96.95 (able to cancel up until midday on day of arrival and receive refund)

Just purchased my tickets and the confirmation email is for different seats to what I wanted? (Same money but different seats) - tried the "contact us" email help but it doesn’t look like its working - anyone got an email address for customer services please.

Hilton Newport Friday for reasonable access to Somerset for whatever friday treat plus its got a spa so make a day of it...then mercure Holland House for Saturday Cardiff...friday family room 75 with optional 10 pound upgrade to King suite but had to book 2 queen rooms (whatever they are!) for Mercure at 119 each...could have been worse nearly booked St.Davids Spa at 400 plus!

Price at Hilton Newport friday 31 May night before the Gp with leisure centre (half an hour from Cardiff @ J24 M4 ) twin room (2x double beds suitable for 4 adults) £97.30 at the moment including breakfast. :D Price you save 30%, prepay 30% now and the rest on departure, that would surely suit loads of people. This is obviously non refundable.......what do you expect for £25 per head folks.

There are other price options available should you wish to book a flexi (cancel on the day) rate.

Good Hotel that used it a few times on business etc....thats why i chose that for next years friday evening....£75 family room getin there lol

Has anybody tried to buy tickets over the phone yet, and been successful. I've dialled the 0844 number and listetened to music for 20-minutes before giving up.

The website only seems to have limited seats available, with nothing for sale on the 1st/2nd bend middle tier. Any idea anyone please?

I looked at the Premier Inn & Travelodge sites at 8.30pm last night, and apart from one, everything seems to be full already!!! Once again, has anyone else had the same problem?

I've just looked and category 1 has seats bend1 middle tier. Also cat 3 has bends 1..Cat 6 has tickets for the second bend. I booked online last night, eventually got the correct link for the discount hotels and booked that too.

I booked my hotel Sunday night - was told date on Saturday - and got two double rooms for £80.20 each and that includes breakfast AND FREE cancellation upto one hour before check-in. If people want the luxury of free cancellation, book your hotel on booking.com

If you're ever unsure on what date Cardiff is, check the Holiday Inn - the one next to the stadium - they either tell you the date or you can tell when rooms are unavailble. Equally, a quick call to the press office of the stadium normally works.

The Marriot and Holiday Inn near the castle were asking £350 a room for the Friday and Saturday. Anyone who pays that seriously needs their head examined!

About 3 years ago we paid £87 for the Holiday Inn and booked for the following year but it had gone up to £155. Decided after booking to go into the Halls at the Uni, and then found that the Holiday Inn had already taken the money non refundable as per the small print. Bloody robbers.
