Crump99
Don't riders talk balls when they sign for a new Club. The proof will come if he becomes one of the few who don't actually want away after having spent time there! Been looking at your crayon list again
Irk Deflector
Matt Ford in favour of club asset system: http://www.bournemou..._assets_system/ Shame he didn't go further and criticize the promotions who fail to invest and 'steal' others assets. champs99
Matt Ford in favour of club asset system: http://www.bournemou..._assets_system/ its nice to read most promoters are still in favour of the asset system. If it was to be phased out i fear prem league teams would be hit the hardest, and their incentive to develop riders would be gone. Lets hope common sense prevails, and those teams such as Lynn and Swindledon who put their own self interests first to the detriment of the sport, fail in their attempts hijack the current asset system.

I don't think either club is against the system per se since both have bought Lynn have actually bought and paid for a rider whilst Swindon have er, told a club they'll buy a rider if....They just want to adapt it to suit their own purposes at any given time. Just out of curiosity are you in favour of a bigger EL with more teams in? If the answer is yes then i would assume that you are happy that those that do come up with few assets (Leicester spring to mind next season) cannot use club assets or attempt to put together a competitive team? BluPanther
Respect? I said I wouldn't miss him - given his years in exile - how is that disrespectful? Its hardly a respectful comment considering injury has forced him to retire, an injury he sustained riding in the ELITE LGE last year, so hardly in exile at the time. He had moved back to the UK and Elite lge was on the agenda in 2013. Did you have the same thoughts when Jason Crump retired, i doubt it.

Jury out on that being the reason, especially with another story being put out on the GP site.

In an ideal world promotions shouldn't be expecting to sell assets they no longer wish to use.
Crump99
I think the Robins fans should start using the Peterborough thread and leave the panther moaners to carry on with their bickering about "The Rules" on here. It's all getting boring now!!!!! It looks like the infestation has started with brum tagging along as any good little sheep does!
