scoobydoo
.The other option would be all riders that have had their purchase prices covered by loan fees can be released from their registrations And any promotor that has spent his own money to improve the track and facilities and made his money back shall give the other promotors shares in his profits
Steve0
A lot of riders haven't been purchased anyway - they have become assets by virtue of the number of meetings they do when they first come over to the UK to ride!!
scoobydoo
And some have then been sold for massive money to keep a track in existance

You'd have thought that they'd have changed the rules by now then? Matey on the Swindon thread was saying that Frost had no forethought, well if the promoters had then this situation wouldn't have arisen would it? hans fan
A lot of riders haven't been purchased anyway - they have become assets by virtue of the number of meetings they do when they first come over to the UK to ride!! yeah right,so the riders never got a signing of fee then Especially in light of the fact that the Fisher loan deals looks to have been pulled..... would have thought there was better options anyway Edited December 18, 2012 by hans fan
orion
Yes - because the rules suggest that they can only sign 2 in the top 20 and they already have 1 so why are 4 others being held in limbo for 1 team spot! With regards the law - I suggest that if any rider wants to take the legal route then they will have more than a very strong chance of winning because you cannot stop someone from earning a living - no matter what the speedway asset system says! The answer to the your questionis simple they might not have made there choice yet, so intill then and unless you can show otherwise they are doing nothing wrong and are quite within there rights ..The same go's for your second point ,Boro are not stopping anyone from earning a living all they are doing is not letting the riders go out on loan untill there own side is sorted out, yet again nothing wrong in that at all . bigcatdiary
And not to long ago Peterborough & Coventry didn't even know they were running until April of the current season, let alone know who was in the team. If teams are so desperate to include our assets why don't they offer to buy them, otherwise they will just have to wait.

Why should desperate promotions dictate when a club should release "their assets", and like it or not, until proven otherwise, thats what riders are!.

Swindon wanted to have him in the team and he wanted to go elsewhere - where did he ride? But then we didn't have a promoter playing silly beggars! Bagpuss
Wish Kings Lynn fans could understand this Some of us do......the system is a poor one, but it is what it is and I can't blame Mr Frost for standing his ground.

cambpanther
Very good point, well spotted :-) How bout Panthers try doing something like poole done last season.. If MJJ isnt interested in doing a full season, sign him on a short term contract in the hope that he will increase his average then bring in some1 else like sullivan?? Or would that be braking the silly rule bout only having 2 riders from top 20?? Edited December 18, 2012 by Panther2006
