HasseHolmqvist
Why? what has he done to deserve it? I think you will find "deserve" does not come into it, he is the number one Brit now & that will suffice the GP guys

He's the highest Brit in the averages of each of the 3 major leagues. I think that gives him a reasonable claim to being the top Brit.

Red Panda
In a word...........no...........I have said this a number of times in various places but there are currently no Brits who are capable of maintaining the standard needed to be in the GP's.........yes there are some coming through but at the moment I can see no one deserving to be in the series as of right..........give it a couple of years or so and there will be the likes of Barker, Auty, Cook and Richie Worrall..........but right now if we have to have a Brit in it I cannot see it being Tai............... I agree Freddie is a far superior rider but people forget Tai is only 22 ... he has been around years so they think he is older & expect more from him. If he goes for it I would expect him to finish around 10th/11th, make a couple of Finals & earn a recall for 2014. There is nobody else from the UK to put in, Ben Barker has a long way to go, Colin Cook will be 27 ish before he makes it, Adam Roynon needs another 3 years, Josh Auty another couple minimum. People keep telling me John Louis did not start till he was 29, times have changed since then tho and its the young guns that are starting to shine, Hancock & Gollob have the best teams and tuners around them, add that to there undoubted class and thats why they are doing so well. Tai needs to get in now and learn fast as the Danes and Swedes are a coming
stratton
Again Hasse you are spot on,but out of the young uns quite a few in my view in front of Woffinden.Ward, Janowski, Smarzlik, M J Jensen, M B Jensen. dabbsjoe
i have to ask why some people keep mentioning the likes of Barker, Cook, Auty as none of these riders appear to ride in the top 2 leagues in the world in Poland and Sweden. Barker is a rider who decided to drop down a level to PL instead, hardly world championship material

Gavan
I will state now that unless its as a reserve at cardiff you will NEVER see Cook, Barker, Auty in a grand prix. They are not or will they ever be good enough think that obvious to most people
Hunty
After watching Barker at birmingham this year he has sometimes won the meetings on his own, He has been scoring very heavily and getting win in heat 15 against some very very good riders in the EL! I think he is our best prospect, Auty has struggled at number 2 which is not to much of a suprise and needs to make a step up with his equipment to leave being a double up rider! Tai needs to be given a shot at it next year, he is still very young but he can cut it in all the leagues! With him being 22 i think putting him in now wont do him any harm at all! He nearly won the british title he was gone and left the rest for dust in the first start of the final only to suffer in the re run!

The Know
The series should be the top riders in the world regardless of which country they come from. There is NO british rider currently worthy of a place in the gp.There are far better riders to choose from abroad as has been proved time and again.
