robert72
Woffinden is nailed on for a place next season, apart from Ward its debatable if there are any better, there are some in there now who are not as good Tai would be the wrong choice, how can he be chosen over a 7 times british champion
HasseHolmqvist
Tai would be the wrong choice, how can he be chosen over a 7 times british champion Erm let me think about this one, .... because he is a younger better rider & Scotty had years in it ? .... plus Scott says he is not interested in it now he has his little girl and Sophie (and who can blame him)

fullbore
unless they had missed qualification through injury so could not take that route Just like Tai... Niamh
mdmc82
Also Tai top scored for GB in the World Cup race off, if he can handle the pressure of being in the GPs put him in, there is no point of continuing with riders who have had their chance and not done that well. As with the World Cup they should give the youngsters the experience and that includes the likes of Tai. The one proviso is that would the probable lack of success initially knock his confidence. Yes but if tai had scored higher in event 1 instead of having a bad meeting, team gb wouldnt have needed the race off.

Glenn
I see alot of similarity between the BSPA and the FA - neither have the power to make fundimental changes to the way their respective sports are run. The paricipants now control what goes on.
emerald tyke
Simply answer to question is No...dont see anything special about him and would prefer to see a 'proper' Brit being given a chance. pity there wasnt a tapes exclusion saturday as would have loved to see one of either of the two lads have a blast around the track..in amongst it all!! HasseHolmqvist
He's not good enough, therefore no he shouldn't. Better than Ljung, Bjarne, Andersen, Harris & Bjerre .... he will be in NO doubt whatsoever
David Haddock
You can bet any money that Darcy Ward, Martin Vaculik and Jarek Hampel will receive wildcards for next year should the latter 2 not qualify - I'm willing to bet MJJ is also a strong consideration along with Tai. I think not having a permanent brit would be possibly viewed as commercial suicide by IMG/Sky because not having a Brit would surely dent the amount turning up at Cardiff and also watching the rounds on Sky, I doubt they'll be willing to take that risk
robert72
tai would be the most unpopular choice with the fans unless you are a wolves fan of course, he has done himself no favours with his attitude and many fans say he is not a likeable person and not a role model for kids,
emerald tyke
No disrespect to Tai but he's only a repeat of the rest thats represented Gb thus far......a good couple races, couple bad uns and not qualifying for semi finals. Why keep putting the same names forward for automatic selection.?? Give someone else a blast at it...they couldnt do any worse. I think the British Final this year was good that it at least proved the younger lads are coming (albeit slowly!) as can be seen by Craig Cooks score (10) and all the finishers above him we've seen already at Cardiff one way or another (actually can't recall did BB get a ride though any year?)...there will be someone on here to correct me though I dont doubt
comebackkings
They should hold the British Final at Poole. Then none of the riders will have any home advantage to help them.
robert72
Simple thought to the OP question is that tai was given his HOME track Again to help him win a british final and still failed so what chance has he got in the GP series..
