Dave Goddard
Will send that out a little later Paul - many thanks. Once again, weather updates from Vetlanda would be hugely appreciated as I am getting conflicting information from different forecast sites. (edit) looks like the consensus is a chance of light rain, but that's what was said last night. PLEASE don't rain! krompa
What's Kosciuch's avarage? Is it 1.40? He scored 35 pts in 25 races last year. It means he will be at reserve tonight and Janowski (1.419) in the main body. Am I right? Any news about Ruud? Fit to ride or R/R?

I'll be intermittently Googling away the next few hours in order to keep on top of the racecard line-up lol. Not heard anything else on Ruud since this morning, although have only just arrived home and done a quick search after popping out..

Its the floating average that counts which like you say is 1.400 for NK and 1.449 for Janowski so Janowski will indeed move up to nr4 with NK at reserve. Still no news about Ruud, i would guess that they are waiting until deadline on whether he will ride or not. Observations from Vetlanda says that if Ruud is unable to ride, Vaculik will take his place, since Vaculik's car have been spotted outside the hotel. krompa
Some rumours say Vaculik may replace Ruud. Hopefully Ghostwalker will be able to answer all these questions soon. Good meeting in prospect anyway. Can't wait.

Got away this year with i think only a single meeting (two at most) where there has been a change in the printed line-ups. Alas, tonight may be an exception with yourselves having a deadline to send them out and a possible riding order reshuffle as well as David Ruud's status to be determined. But hey what's a speedway meeting without lots of scribbling in a programme lol. Rain, definitely a bane of broadcasters, seems to affect speedway more than cricket these days! I had just sent it out to give people time to print it later on, but will re-send later if further changes emerge. Thanks again for all your help this year! (Also, like the semi-final night, I have a flight back to England from the studios straight after this match which is why I am even more desperate for it not to rain!) Missed this post on first glance, thanks Ghostwalker. With all the possible changes looming going to be a racecard issued as they approach the tapes!!! Does Vaculik have a talent for Cheerleading? maybe he's at the hotel waiting for his pom poms and mini skirt to be delivered lol. Fast like a Ghost. You answered while I was writing my post. Top man. Noooooo don't say Ghosts are fast i bank on being able to run away if i see one Scooby Doo style. Ahh i was wondering why you were concerned about the rain to that extent, but was thinking more on the lines of Premier Sports maybe pulling the plug before the end. Ok a relief you can resend later, i am in all afternoon now and will do my utmost to grab a confirmed riding order to avoid fans pencilling away. hasta la vista
Krompa, you are desperate for the team news so you can bet the wrong handicap line someone puts up!!
Ghostwalker
If Vaculik comes in he will take Ruuds place straight off. As THJ's average is slightly lower he will remain at reserve.
manchesterpaul
Elit Vetlanda's 100% record at home this season. Some hefty wins in there. Indianerna 49-41 Västervik 57-33 Piraterna 51-39 Hammarby 49-41 Valsarna 52-38 Dackarna 53-37 Vargarna 48-42 Semifinals: Indianerna 58-32 Incidentally i have since amended the racecard to reflect the recent expected changes in the riding order. But it's still prudent to hold back. At least with speedway we normally get the teams well in advance unlike football. Ghostwalker
Still now news about Ruud, so i've decided to up the race card anyway. http://www.mediafire.com/view/?sdzc49n0k84t4a7 Just one simple change if Vaculik is in. Are they allowed to move riders within the team? Hancock was declared at 1 and Holder at 5 and you got it the other way round.

Unconfirmed as I haven't found a source yet but Ruud intends to ride tonight.
manchesterpaul
INJURY UPDATE.......DAVID RUUD DEFIES THE PAIN TO RIDE (that the Swedish media wording not mine lol). So the amended racecard i put up earlier this afternoon should 'hopefully' not need any changes. By the way thanks again to Ghostwalker and Kompa for the heads up with the riding order. I was wondering about that aspect at the time but didn't have the averages on hand. Although if you are wrong i'll sue you lol. racers and royals
Brave man David, very very brave. If i were a Vetlanda fan and if Vaculik was available and Ruud is riding beat up, i would much prefer Vaculik especially as Hampel is showing no form at all. Dave Goddard
Overall it means things may not be as clear-cut as they look on paper tonight.... Updated racecard re-distributed.
manchesterpaul
Quotes from a couple of media articles appeared a short while ago. "During the day, Ruud has been the examination and treatment of their personal physicians in Karlskrona and given the green light to start. Ruud is now in place in Vetlanda and have their doctors for everything to feel safe in the final. A foot is sprained and my neck is sore." "Elit Vetlanda set up with the same team as yesterday, which means that David Ruud defies pain." I guess Vetlanda are hoping that Hampel returns to racing somewhere near his ability.
