manchesterpaul
Rain has certainly plagued the sport far and wide this season.
Ghostwalker
They say that it has stopped raining, so I think that we will get a race then. As the rain over Motala is heading eastward. @MP I do agree with that. Probably on of the rainiest seasons in a long time. manchesterpaul
Also normally no racing is allowed past 22.00 according to the police permission. Not saying this out of my anarchistic nature but carry on regardless i'm sure they'll be let off with just a caution lol. Why is it down to police permission and not local council permission? Surely Sweden isn't a severe police state!
Ghostwalker
random fact: the gravel or stenmjöl ("stone flour") that they are putting on have been warmed up to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius.

Also I don't know why its a police matter but most sports meetings/happenings requires police permission. The same goes for concerts and stuff like that. RACE ON!!!!! They will put some more material and then start the meeting. meeting estimated to start at 20.30 Edited September 19, 2012 by Ghostwalker
Dave Goddard
So 90 minutes to get all 15 heats in - what is the minimum needed before a result can be declared?

Ghostwalker
So 90 minutes to get all 15 heats in - what is the minimum needed before a result can be declared? Half of the heats is required so 8 is correct.

Ghostwalker
I've got this vision of Kurt Wallander marching in and telling everyone to go home coz' it's late! it did happen to Bruce Springsteen during a concert in London where the organizers basically pulled the power out. But i don't think the Police would do it here. Edited September 19, 2012 by Ghostwalker
