emilali
As you have already saved £6.50, including your saving next week of £4.50, a nice saving of £11. May I suggest, instead of extra pies, you have enough to purchase the new book from The Hairy Bikers, I can recommend it highly 'THE HAIRY DIETERS'. By giving yourself a 50% reduction in size, it will allow another person to come up on the 3rd bend, that has to be good for the club, now you can't argue with that can you. :D LOL! Spatri
Will be plenty of clubs looking at this price cut on admission anything to get more punters through the gate and perhaps atmosphere would be generated .Good luck with this perhaps the comets owner/promoter maybe looking at such a venture .The sport in general is suffering in many ways if reduced admission is the answer i dont know but 1500 paying a tenner looks better in the ground than 1000 paying 15 quid

We're doing the same at Glasgow on Sept 2nd , though that might be looked upon as a last act of desperation .

Robinh88
It means I'll have an extra £4.50 to spend on pies and burgers, which is very important to me Plenty of protein/carbs/fats 3 vital ingrediants for any man to represent his country

Fromafar
Remind us about your exploits at sport and your glittering career? Remind us about your exploits at sport and your glittering career? He is still the only man to retain the National Pie -Eating Championship 3 years in succession. Rumour has it he is changing sport this season to the Cheese-burger championship and is being sponsered by the Berwick Promotion with these reduced admission prices. Backless
Tax dodging to anything up to £125 million, a price worth paying for a full Shielfield Park. Had the rain on the day not been apocalyptic, there's a good chance there would have been more speedway fans in the stadium in June than the descending football thugs & drunks today, what with the need for a considerable police presence and segregation to pen in the drunken animals. Speedway needs no comparison - there may not be as many on Saturday, but the promotion know what they're doing to keep things moving in the right direction.

Backless
More cheeriness from the Rev I M Jolly And if the thieving parasites who have defrauded their way through the equivalent of £25 per man, woman & child in Scotland had been the catholic variety of sectarianism in the name of sport, that would of course have been okay then, wouldn't it? Shut down a few protestant schools to make up for the shortfall to the public purse. Chuck a few dozen protestant nurses onto the dole. No one would care. Meanwhile, Berwick Speedway who, quite radically, have made continured improvements to their track & infrastructure without the need to drive the club over a clifftop, (hey, THERE'S a cunning plan!) and are succesfully exploring avenues to increase patronage & revenue. Ther'es simply no need to drag day tripping drunkards into the equation.

Take it you are not a footie fan. just a religeous bigot, if we banned all religeons it would be a much nicer world As a foot note, Berwick Police reported no incidents of anything significant other than drinking revelry. it was certainly a good pay day for Berwick Rangers, and a good pay day for Berwick as a whole. I am not a football fan and did not attend, for me to be a proper sport it has to have an engine and travel between 100 & 200 mph, I however welcome events like this, as long as fans behave themselves, as they did on this occasion. What? Represent your country at sport? And you know for certain I have not, always check your facts before you make a statement ;)

Did the Berwick promotion miss a trick yesterday? A couple of riders on bikes, not racing or doing full laps for obvious reasons. But a few starts, a bit of noise and THE speedway smell might have been a good bit of PR, especially with the TV cameras there.
