Rye House 2013

Recommended Posts

I presume we are after R/R for Mear on 7.4 rather than the man he replaced Garrity on 4.79ish. Sort of makes a big difference.

How about Roynon would he fit?

He would fit and then we could redeclare with Garrity in place of Lambert on Garrity's return if we wanted. Puts JG in a reserve berth!

At the start of the season I'd have said that won't happen, but after the way Silver dumped David Mason, a rider who's been associated with him for 15 years, I'm not so sure now. I heard Roynon is Glasgow bound anyway.

Maybe another red herring, but hearing rumours about Jacob Thorsell ????

I spoke to Jacob earlier this year, said he's too busy to do PL with all his other commitments. He's got a lot of potential so if he's reconsidered that'd be a great move. He'd be on a 5 point average though, leaves a lot of scope.

Maybe he can do one extra meeting a month, which is about all we ride at present :o

He has tweeted that he was on his way to Rye last night before rain off. As normal I am putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with the number I want it to be

I wondered that but after my chat with Ricky Kling last year and got it totally wrong, I am not saying anything definite. Just throwing it into the pot and see what people think.

Klindt in for Olly as temp replacement ? If he can come into some form and Peterboro allow it ? Could be a good idea.

Thorsell in for Mear and then redeclare for Lambert if points allow, could be an idea ?

But after previous seasons decisions it will most probably be guest for Olly and r/r for Mear/Garitty and when we drop off the bottom of the table, management wil blame injuries. Bring in a 3 pointer and say building for future.

REMEMBER last years statements we are in the future NOW

Kasper Lykke was the future, but he's not even attained the average he came in on. From what I've seen he's no Linus, can't gate for a start. That's the minimum required unless you're a Robbo/Auty type, which I'm afraid he's not from what I've seen. Yeah, I'll give him a chance, he's young, enthusistic and still learning the British tracks, but his Danish scores don't suggest he'll amount to much I'm afraid.

If Silver had his eyes open we'd have had the Norfolk lad who's pulling up trees at Newcastle

Kasper has the rest of the season to convince, otherwise I doubt we'll see him next year if it's a straight choice between him and Luke at reserve, unless Silver has a master stroke and puts Kasper in the main body of the side and signs someone like Jake Knight to partner Simon Lambert at reserve.

To take Roynon at present is a huge gamble on his current average, He is very low in confidence and both at Leicester 2 weeks ago and am told today at Glasgow he looked very tentative and not mixing it too well.

Who owns Roynon . Any club taking him will just be helping him lower his average if you believe how he is riding so what is the point in that. Good luck to him on his recovery though.

Although he was winning races at Berwick last night,I thought he was nowhere near being a decent scorer at PL level.I think the rider himself said he would know alot better after this weekends meeting if he thought he would be ready for a racing return, and I guess he will know best.

He's owned by Coventry. The issue with taking Adam and him lowering his average is you can't be sure he'll be back next year, he doesn't exactly hang around at clubs.

I don't think Adam Roynon is the answer to Rye House's problems. We need a points scorer now, not someone who's feeling his way back
