keithmed
Couldn't agree more guys - great to see former and current rye house riders doing the club proud not only nationally but on the world stage as well.
Najjer
Yeah, pretty good being a Rye fan at the moment. Not that we're challenging for every trophy, but seeing the likes of Tai, Linus, Eddie and now Jason blossom from kids into top riders is a pleasure in itself... Had serious doubts about Garrity when he first came. He was wild and had a pretty wild reputation. Different rider this year. Onwards and upwards. Just imagine if Len had used some sense and got him to reserve, you'd wipe the floor with everybody.
Shadders
Just imagine if Len had used some sense and got him to reserve, you'd wipe the floor with everybody. That's one of the only downsides of the year so far, apart from the injuries to Jason Bunyan and Simon Lambert. Had a budget to work with I should think. I don't believe Silver when he says he doesn't look at the averages, just picks the best seven riders!
Oafski
Best wishes to Jason for a speedy recovery. I cant help thinking that if the Management fell into a barrel of boobs they would come up sucking their thumbs the way their luck is running. Oafski
what value does this post add? None whatsoever, an ill judged attempt at surmising that the Promotion haven't had a great deal of luck this year. I apologise profusely for any offense caused. screm
Thankfully Garrity injuries are not as bad as first feared, though a broken leg seems serious enough to me.
Shadders
Thankfully Garrity injuries are not as bad as first feared, though a broken leg seems serious enough to me. Could've been worse I s'pose. I'm told a Clean break is the best case scenario, no pin or rod needed. Because of Jasons age it should heal quickly and I've a feeling he'll be itching to get back on the bike. Does leave the Rockets a real problem and probably puts paid to any chance we had of gaining some sliverware this year.
Chris
Can't get worse than losing a 4.79 rider who is riding like a genuine 9 point man. Silver will have to redeclare if the team is going to remain competitive as there is no one out there on an average under Garrity who is worth signing. Rye are still nearly 3 points under the limit so take Garrity out and you have 7.71 available. A far better figure to use. When Garrity is fit you then bring him in for one of the others. That must really stick in some posters throats that Len picked a rider who managed to ride way above his average.

Ben91
The team are riding incredibly well this season considering we've been operating with R/R and a NL guest up until now. If as expected Jason Bunyan returns for our next fixture R/R will be used for Garrity I'd expect although with only Bunyan, Lambert and Nielsen able to take rides I'd want to sign a temporary replacement as the former two have only just returned from lay offs. We've got 7.71 to use, answers on a postcard!
Shadders
We've got 7.71 to use, answers on a postcard! Isn't that if they redeclare the side? Whoever it is would have to make way when Jason returns. Also depends on how much is left in the budget Edited May 17, 2013 by Shadders

Also depends on how much is left in the budget Yeah, temp replacement would have to be under Jason's figure and could only be used for 28 days so we may as well bring someone in on a higher average. If that replacement is riding well then it's not a bad situation to be in come Garrity's return to fitness.
