LagutaRacingFan
Come on CVS, now it is time to play the same game that Poole and Peterborough have done. Postpone all Wolves matches citing `damaging to business and financial suicide` Until Tai and Ty are fit again. That should be ok. Or shall we just tow the line like others have done and lost matches when severely weakened.?? Precedent set. You can for your home fixtures as it damages your business but not away fixtures. Wolves will get a facility for both, Boro did not after agreeing to a fixture change IF a facility was allowed. There is a big difference. Boro did not call off an original fixture, and never would. You cant tell a club to move a fixture and then tell them they have to ride without a no1 as well, that's just not on..

Hope Woffy has a speedy recovery. Big loss for Wolves esp now he is no longer at number 1 in junes averages so will mean r/r for him
INCOGNITO
Wolverhampton will only get guest facility for Tai as long as Ty is out as Freddie is now the number one. Tai looks like he will be out for some time now so it could be a good time to rebuild like Poole or maybe even sign an up and coming young Australian looking for work :-) Edited June 1, 2013 by INCOGNITO

Understand where you are coming from but think that's a bit harsh on 'Boro based on the information currently available. As long as Tai's absence doesn't look like running to Darcyesque proportions I would be expecting Ty to be 'recovering more slowly than had been anticipated' or 'Adam came back too soon and has aggravated his injury' if you know what I mean nudge, nudge ;)

BluPanther
Most recent update from twitter shows a picture of an x-ray posted by Tai and a statement that says the bone is shattered so not a clean break and could require a plate. Sounds like a lengthy absence :-( What now for Wolves? We can have the pick of the guests, subject to availability and willingness of riders and other promotions, but perhaps we should look at a short term signing? Could Emil be tempted by a 2 month contract?! AJ?! Edit - Just seen the previous posts about the guest facility. In light of the above, definitely time to source a short term signing for me. Emil....NO. AJ....YES.

Harsh or not, either all teams play by the same rules or you can make them up to suit. Now THATS harsh!
Vincent Blachshadow
Harsh or not, either all teams play by the same rules or you can make them up to suit. Now THATS harsh! Ever heard the terms 'provisionally' or 'conditionally'? Peterborough accepted the Sky booking 'conditionally'. The condition wasn't met so they withdrew their acceptance. What's so hard to grasp there? They acted within their entitlement and broke no rule.
T.N.T.
Emil....NO. AJ....YES. Both are highly unlikely to want to ride here on a short term cover for Tai as Emil has Swedish, Polish and Russian meetings already booked alongside the GP's while AJ who could possibly do with the meetings to get back some sort of form although he took a knock at Cardiff practice. Emil still carries an 8.00 average but AJ is too high any way on 9.66 and although Nicki Pedersen 8.64 (injured), Greg Hancock 8.66 is unlikey and Antonio Lindback 7.94 is not only unlikely but also looking slower than Ales Dribble !! ..... Dary Ward would have been a good call if Tai was out for sometime

Yes i have and i appreciate this is not clear black and white. However in the bigger picture it looks like teams decide when to ride and makes a mockery of choosing SKY fixtures, as if SKY haven't seen enough poor management of the sport. This isn't a personal attack on Peterborough, i would feel the same if any club did it. However it is starting to look like it is becoming OK to call off fixtures on a whim. Trees
Darcy would surely appreciate a decent track to race on!! He's not gonna get it any time soon at Poole!!
T.N.T.
EASTBOURNE V WOLVES - Saturday 8th June With Wolves needing a guest for Tai Woffinden, they may struggle as it's the same day as the European Best Pairs meeting where Iversen and Holder could be riding. Would these be enough to suggest the match is trdcheduled

Coventry have no Kasprzak whos in great form & also no Allen or Summers on Fri so hoping we can join u in a call off

A Poole type call off appears the only action unless actions have started against the original dodgy call off.
T.N.T.
Tai 2nd in wolves averages so will be r/r depending on Proctor. Proctor is out for a couple of weeks, that's why its a guest for Tai and r/r will be used for Ty. Should Tai be out for some time, Darcy Ward would be a great temporary replacement but that would mean there would have to be two changes to fit him in which seems unlikely unless both can be temporary signings with the original riders allowed back when fit at the same time. Eastbourne away could be someone like Scott Nicholls guesting with many top guys riding in the Best Pairs. Maybe PK could stick arond after riding at Lakeside on Friday before heading off to Poland for Sunday ?. Other option could be r/r for Tai and Lewis Bridger in for Proctor ? Fourentee
PK would be a fine choice; in-form, good at Eastbourne and, as TNT indicated, riding for Lakeside the previous night so possibly around. Not a bad record in black and gold down the years, either.
