stevebrum
You have more chance of Poole leaving Holder & Ward out than Wolves even considering leaving Freddie out, form is temporary, class is permanent Freddies last 5 or 6 meeting have seen him back to near his best, and next season on that nice low average he is gonna be a steal Defos for 2013... Tai Woffinden Freddie Lindgren Nailed on for next season.... Woffy extremely loyal as he was at Rye House when he rode for uncle Len in the PL.... As a Wolves asset. Am I missing some kind of inference here? Who can tell how this mind works.........................
T.N.T.
WOLVERHAMPTON " ? Wolves" 2013 1 - Tai Woffinden ................... 8.65' 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - Fredrik Lindgren ............... 8.60' 6 - 7 - .......................................... 3.00 The rest are very much who fits with who but Ricky Wells 5.30' and Ty Proctor 5.60' will be near the front of the queue ..... #7 should be Pontus Aspgren or Jacob Thorssell Personally I would like to see Simon Gustafsson signed next season but it would be a suprise if Eastbourne were to release him. For me he is a rider that could develop even more in the future but probably needs a change of track (would rather him be a signing rather than a loan) and doubling up pairing of any two from Jason Doyle, David Howe or Ty Proctor ..... that leaves around 8.5+ so either Ricky Wells at #2 and another 3.00 rider at reserve ... or ... Ricky Kling and a 4.00 new rider that is widely known ... ie Michelsen Woffinden, Lindgren, ' indicates roughly
Vic Ridgeon
Easy decision after tonight's meeting. Replace Klindt with PK. Everyone else to stay the same. Simples. Now start getting those averages down boys!
BWitcher
So, a team that is already above the pts limit, you are looking at dropping a rider and relacing him with one over 2pts higher... not quite going to work is it? Klindt's score tonight clearly isn't acceptable though and it would be interesting to hear what the problems were there. Bizarre as speedway is, such a poor performance will actually make him more attractive for next year. Edited to add.. Could we go down the route of Proctor/Klindt doubling up? It would give them both a lot of confidence coming into EL matches. Edited September 3, 2012 by BWitcher
T.N.T.
Easy decision after tonight's meeting. Replace Klindt with PK. Everyone else to stay the same. Simples. Now start getting those averages down boys! Sounds fine but you miss two points at least 1 = The team is only just 40.05 at present and PK for Klindt would make it 42.37 on current GSA's 2 = The points limit MAY be 42 next season, but how do you get your averages to drop when all you have left is home and away to Belle Vue ? Until the AGM its pretty pointless trying to work out a full 1-7 until we know .... Points limit ? Final Averages .... and maybe a different way of working them out !! Riders who are NOT assests being available to return !! At present the only thing that is certain as far as I can see is Tai and Freddie being the two heat leaders ..... the rest is unsure. stevebrum
Klindt's score tonight clearly isn't acceptable though and it would be interesting to hear what the problems were ther He said after the meeting he was struggling hanging on to the bike. Not sure if its just the same issues with monmore tight turns or has aggravated it in Denmark finals. But he was dreadful tonight.
T.N.T.
Having watched the Lakeside v Coventry match tonight and knowing how much he likes Monmore Green, I was suprised Robbo had only ridden about 9 matches for Lakeside this season so far ..... he is always in the team at Monmore and hopefully next year we may see him a bit more
Fourentee
Tai Woffinden is the Crown Jewels of the club and they do not want to let anyone get their hands on him and he doesnt want to go. It's likely he will finish the season as top man and would therefore start 2013 as #1 with an average around 8.7 Freddie is the clubs Rolls Royce. It may be 26 years old and seen better days, but it can easily been brought back to its old style and power and celebrate his testimonial with the club looking to be a 9+ rider again and again. Ty Proctor is like the trusted servant of the club. Has hardly ever missed a match since starting with them and has progressed each season and likely to start next season with an average somewhere around 5.80 Not only has he served the club well, but like a roaming guard dog one minute but he can suddenly turn up and riding at #2 provide the security for Freddie. So as far as team building is concerned, we've got a guard dog looking after the crown jewels in the Rolls-Royce. It's a start...

Fourentee
We've had worse teams! I can see a theme developing here. So for a seven-man team we need a chauffeur to drive the car, a mechanic to service it, someone to feed the dog and someone else to polish the crown jewels . Nominations, please... T.N.T.
Nicolai will b on a modest average next season with him now under six points a match, but his form this season has been worrying even before his injury. Never a tough rider, especially when on the inside of a rider, so far this season he has seemed to back off going into the turns if another rider is there with him. When he is flying he is a joy to watch bu this season he has failed to score in 21 of his 56 races and scored just 73+8. Since his return he has won just 4 (+2) races from 40 starts and if you tae off his best score of 8+2 v Coentry, he has scored just 29 points from 29 starts to average just 4.00 a match. We all know he is much better than this, but he certainly seems to have lost his desire and starting next season on a sub six average may not be a bargain but more of a gamble. As for Ty Proctor I feel he has had a pretty good season and his riding style is certainly less eratic than before and maybe he is coming of age. As long as you look at his position as a solid second string, then he does a good job but too many seem to think every rider has to improve every year. Ty will never be a GP star or even break into the Australian WTC squad in future years, but he will give everything to try his best. Whatever averages are used next season, Ty for me is worth considering and maybe riding also in the Premier League would give him more track time and help him being more consisant. Maybe doubling up with Ricky Wells ? Freddie, Tai, ......., Ty/Ricky, ........, ........., Jacob
T.N.T.
Will be great to watch Sam Ermolenko return to the track to ride in the Olympique on Tuesday 16th but before anyone starts, this is a one off and although he would love to be able to ride every week, his body wouldn't allow it so ...... Don't Miss It !!! Sam will not be just making up the numbers however and wants to score points in a meeting that has been used to test out new riders for next season ...... Nice to see Mikkel Michelsen in the line up now that he has finished his exams

Beowulf
If we retain Freddie, Tai, Ricky, Ty, Pontus and Jacob what would that leave us to play with? T.N.T.
If we retain Freddie, Tai, Ricky, Ty, Pontus and Jacob what would that leave us to play with? Depends on a few things ...... what they finish on as we still have one match to ride and also what restrictions ae put on team building strengths next season ..... ie points limit, 8+ riders etc At present we have ... 8.80 Tai Woffinden 8.68 Fredrik Lindgren 5.79 Ricky Wells 5.68 Nicolai Klindt 5.53 Ty Proctor 3.15 Pontus Aspgren 3.00 Jacob Thorssell 40.63 So signing the six you mention using a 41 point limit eaves you just 6.05 ...... Miskowiak is 6.07 !!! Personally I think the limit may be raised to 42 next season and Mikkel Michelsen will be at reserve on a 4.00 average which would mean only one from Pontus and Jacob would be back ..... unless they double up together !!! 8.80 Tai Woffinden 8.68 Fredrik Lindgren 5.79 Ricky Wells / Ty Proctor 4.00 Mikkel Michelsen 3.15 Pontus Aspgren / Jacob Thorssell That would leave 10.58 (41) or 11.58 (42) for the last two places sadly already out of the equation is Jacob Thorssell at #7 and PK at #4 one good option however would be Scott Nicholls along with either another 4.00 rider (Kling/Ludvig) or Jacob Thorssell personally I would rather see ..... Woffinden, Lindgren, Wells/Proctor, Klindt, ............, Michelsen, Thorssell In the gap ideally would be Dudek or Zmarzlik 5.00 ..... however Stuart Robson / Daniel Nermark doubling up o Patrick Hougaard would be decent options. Yes there would be riders that never had great 2012 seasons, but we all know they can do better so rather than potential it more a case of belief they can get back to what they were ..... better Edited October 8, 2012 by T.N.T. stevebrum
Would like to see Mikkel Michelsen or Anton Rosen at reserve if possible, as riders like Mikkel Bech, Dudek etc are unlikely to come over.
dabbsjoe
Lindgren will be nailed on as he has his testimonial in 2013 doesn't he ? Proctor will be back due to family ties with CVS Wells should be back as he's been the best of the team outside of the top 2 all season but can see Cov trying to use him next year or Wolves will have to buy him. However Ricky has said many times he wants to ride for Wolves next year. Klindt shouldn't be anywhere near the team next year hopefully Will Tai be in the team next year ? i'm not too sure Out of Jacob and Pontus i'd prefer to see them share a double up role together
mdmc82
Harris is meant to be due a testimonial but that doesnt make him nailed on. Hope freddie stays with wolves though & harris with cov. X
