Wolverhampton 2013

Recommended Posts

Yes, heard he was dreadful and didn't impress the time I saw him.. however he has got ability and has apparently expressed a determination to put things right. Perhaps being in the team from the start will see him better prepared to make a good fist of it? Also, his experience from last year should prove useful.

Either way, if it is him.. for the first time in a number of seasons we will have 7 riders capable of scoring points which will make a difference, especially at home.

I think you are correct in that it's a team to attempt to win home matches, it has no chance of challenging for anything, unless we see huge improvement from Wells, Thorsell and the other reserve, in my view.

I am not enthused

Time will tell.. confidence is a key factor. If they can start to win their home meets regularly, confidence will begin to build for the away meets. We also need Fred to return to a more dominant level too.

Looking at everything positively Fred and Tai can improve, Adam will stay at his starting average, Proctor could surprise us and we have 3 improvers as I said above. Won't happen IMO but that might give an outside chance of play offs

Until we know what Tai Woffnden is doing we are pretty much in limbo as to which way the team is heading.

Can't see him not returning and he is taking a break around the world having been "home" to Australia and now in Hawaii and until talks are continued and finalised then we will see how we line up.

So far we know we have Fredrik Lindgren 8.68 and Jacob Thorssell 3.00 while Ricky Wells 5.79 is all but signed. Add Doyle 6.50 or Sqora 6.57 and thats 23.97 (24.04) used up with 18.53 (18.46) left for the last three places.

If Tai 8.80 returns as expected, it leaves 9.73 (9.66) for 2 riders ..... Proctor 5.53 and Kling 3.97 ?

If Tai goes to Belle Vue on loan .... god knows they need him ..... it would mean a more balaced team most likely ...... Sqora ? Doyle ? Michelsen ? Robson ? Proctor ?

1 - Tai Woffinden 8.80

2 - Ty Proctor 5.53

3 - Jason Doyle / Adam Skornicki 6.50 / 6.57

4 - Ricky Wells 5.79

5 - Fredrik Lindgren 8.68

6 - Ricky Kling 3.97

7 - Jacob Thorssell 3.00

TOTAL = 42.27 / 42.34

1 - Fredrik Lindgren 8.68

2 - Mikkel Michelsen ? 6.00

3 - Jason Doyle ? 6.50

4 - Ricky Wells 5.79

5 - Adam Skornicki 6.57

6 - Ty Proctor 5.53

7 - Jacob Thorssell 3.00

TOTAL = 42.07

hate to say it, but the second team looks stronger !!

Well after all that Wolves will be naming a new signing for 2013 ..... Nigel Pearson has just tweeted that it's going to be very popular !!!

That sounds like Adam Skornicki 6.57 ..... or Sam Ermolenko on an assessed 4.00 would be great ;)

Many Happy Returns PK posted by Wolves twitter ..... he was 43 YESTERDAY !!!

It's not Doyle as I have been saying for ages he's going elsewhere

If it's not Wolves it has to be Birmingham then as it's unlikely to be Belle Vue
