fish keeper
I agree we can do better than Robson
pufcfanno1
Perhaps they could get Buckowski as well!! Â Wolves signing Buzz could work out well. He is a rider who always gives 100% he is extremely entertaining to watch and despite what some people say, he actually did fairly well when we went to Monmore in 2011 with 6+1 from 4 rides and he only dropped points to Lindgren, Woffinden and Karlsson (and Proctor). Vic Ridgeon
Why all the sudden love for Stuart Robson? Oh yes.........his average fits! Only in speedway! Â To be fair, by and large, Robson has done very well at Monmore Green over recent years so whilst I don't disagree with your broader point in this instance you are slightly wide of the mark :-)

T.N.T.
Why all the sudden love for Stuart Robson? Oh yes.........his average fits! Only in speedway!  Mainly it has been me that has been on about Stuart Robson for sometime and anyone that has watched Robbo around Monmore Green a number of times knows full well why I would like to see him in the team.  He entertains, he scores in most races and YES ... his average would fit nicely for him to start at reserve giving Wolves a decent reserve from the start of the season and mean we would always have a 5+ reserve. I have spoken to Robbo numerous times at WV2, I know how much he enjoys riding the track and Wolves desperatly need to get back to picking up three points each home meeting (42 points) rather than crossing your fingers, kissing a shamrock and avoiding ladders to scrape home with the odd win. We dropped 15 points at home last season .... That was enough to be 3rd in the table rather than 9th out of 10.    Wolves signing Buzz could work out well. He is a rider who always gives 100% he is extremely entertaining to watch and despite what some people say, he actually did fairly well when we went to Monmore in 2011 with 6+1 from 4 rides and he only dropped points to Lindgren, Woffinden and Karlsson (and Proctor).   So he beat a 3.75 averaging Ricky Wells, a 3.00 Lubos Tomicek and 3.83 averaging James Grieves   Seriously though, yes he would be a good signing but is Jason Doyle 6.50 or Adam Skornicki 6.57 better or safer options ?     You sure about Woffy?   YES ...... He is about to enter the 2013 Grand Prix Series and his sponsors to help him achieve that are mainly Wolverhampton based   . Edited December 9, 2012 by T.N.T. superguest
If we start the season with 4 x 5 point riders, we'll finish up with 4 x 5 point riders. No improvement and too much pressure on Tai and Freddie to win every single race (not going to happen against Poole, Cov, Swindon)
T.N.T.
If we start the season with 4 x 5 point riders, we'll finish up with 4 x 5 point riders. No improvement and too much pressure on Tai and Freddie to win every single race (not going to happen against Poole, Cov, Swindon) Â Maybe we might finish the season with 2 x 9 point riders, 4 x 6 point riders and 1 x 4 rider. That would be strong enough to challenge and the key to our strength will be to win more at home and that should be achievable without two riders that couldn't score as was the case last season. Â Â As for Coventry, I wouldn't say they are too much to be feared. ... Tai and Freddie are better than KK and Scott, then BB may not score as many as Jason Doyle (if we go that way) or Ricky Wells who is on the up. Then you have Summers and Roynon who are not as strong as Wells, Andersson or Proctor. .... Then at reserve they may have Martin Smolinski who is a good reserve and Szezpaniak who scored well but we could have Stuart Robson or Matej Kus at reserve alongside Jacob Thorssell so they only just out do us there. Â Â TEAM 1 = Woffinden, Lindgren, Doyle, Wells, Proctor, Kus, Thorssell TEAM 2 = Woffinden, Lindgren, Wells, Andersson, Proctor, Robson, Thorssell. Â Either of those line ups looks stronger than Coventry, Birmingham and Eastbourne to me and possibly Peterborough ? and certainly stronger than Belle Vue ..... so thats 5th place at least which is better than 2011 and 2012 so we will have to see how Lakeside line up to challenge for 4th .... then sudden death against Poole, Kings Lynn and Swindon

Brummie Boy
Â TEAM 1 = Woffinden, Lindgren, Doyle, Wells, Proctor, Kus, Thorssell TEAM 2 = Woffinden, Lindgren, Wells, Andersson, Proctor, Robson, Thorssell. Â Either of those line ups looks stronger than Coventry, Birmingham and Eastbourne to me and possibly Peterborough ? Â TNT perhaps you can let me in on the team lineup for the Brummies next year. Although, on second thoughts perhaps you can't, because most of your other team permutations on the BSF have turned out to be mostly wrong. A part from the Wolves top two, the rest looks well short of a play-off team. For 2013 read same results as 2012, especially with Woffy's mind being on the GPs. RobStefenson
In terms of a 3rd heat-leader; I would really like Adam Skornicki back. Â He can help the younger lads settle into the team in Ricky and Jacob.
T.N.T.
The line ups I have posted are not saying this is what will happen, its just a view on who could fit with the averages used up by the confirmed starters in Freddie and Jacob plus hopefully the soon to be named Ricky and Tai leaving three places and looking at combinations that could work. Â Â So looking at the averages of those not yet signed and lookig who could be useful at Wolves I may post a line up that I think would be a decent line up and put that forward for discussion as this is a forum last time I looked. Â Â I will however tell you the line up of Birmingham 2013 ....... it will be one of the many teams BELOW Wolves come September !!!

Until I see the final Brummies team for 2013 I cannot be sure where we will likely finish next year, but seeing the siginings so far for Wolves one thing is sure, there will not be many (if any teams) below Wolves come September.

Fourentee
Reckon Belle Vue might be at this rate. Sadly for one of the sport's genuinely great names, that appears to be something of a given these days.

Mini Jack
Maybe best wait till you see your full line up before you decide that your team is already better! Â I think both sides should wait. If you go with Fredrik and Tai it will be more top heavy (Not as much as Poole might I add) whereas we look to be more strength in depth. Â Now where have I seen this debate on here over the last couple of months?

Must admit its not a new thing with some fans saying their team is already better when they only have a couple of riders signed up.  Makes me laugh all the same.  Until i see all the teams line ups its so hard to judge how we will compare. But i think strength in depth is going to win the day again anyway. RobStefenson
Tai - 8.80 Freddie - 8.68 Larsen/JJ Jensen - 6.57 Wells - 5.69 Proctor - 5.53 Jacob - 3.00  4.23/4.26 for the last rider and I would opt for Matej Kus on a 4.12 average.
