Panthers89
Nutters. Rather have Wells to Klindt? As not that much difference in the averages. Klindt is a decent prospect, and his average wont drop, if anything will go up. Oh well, wolves loss is another teams gain.

orion
MIKKEL MICHELSEN ..... I have no inside information or proof that he is a possible starter for Wolves in 2013. Â Â Â Over the years we have come to understand that .

superguest
As expected, we couldn't sign Klindt, Wells and Ty as we'll be UNDER the points limit (!!) Â Â Nicolai is a decent rider but it just hasn't worked out for him over the years, he has flashes of brilliance but is one of these frustratingly inconsistent riders! Hope he does well wherever else he rides. Edited November 24, 2012 by superguest
stevebrum
Confirmed Klindt is look for a new EL club. Wolves will not be using him in 2013. Â Must admit i am surprised as it seems he is behind Proctor and Wells in being retained from this season, on a 5ish average. Would have put him ahead imho.
SteveEvans
He could excel somewhere else. I can see a case for keeping him on that average but we can't keep recycling pieces of the 2009 title winning squad and filling in the gaps. I think some freshness is needed and nothing against anyone we leave out as someone has to be. Do wish him well! T.N.T.
Nutters. Rather have Wells to Klindt? As not that much difference in the averages. Klindt is a decent prospect, and his average wont drop, if anything will go up. Oh well, wolves loss is another teams gain.  Nicolai joined Wolves as one of the hottest properties in World Speedway and it was a major signing for the club. After three decent years of progression to a 6-7 point rider, Nicolai has suffered injuries in the last few years, his confidence dented and at times really struggled to make a contribution to the team and at times looked like a raw novice.  When Nic is in full flow he is a reat rider and very quick, but he has always struggled to race his own style when he misses the gate and that has been quite often of late. He backs out of a challenge if he is on the inside ofa rider going into a turn and although he is fast when out in the dirt, once he misses the gate he dies straight to the white line without success. It's a shame as Nic is a nice guy and afavourite of mine on the track, but tha has been very rare this season as his average dropped nearly a point.   As for Ricky, in the two seasons he has been at Wolves he has progressed from a rider that was struggling in the Premier League even at reserve and couldn't buy a point in the Elite League for love or money. Now he not only has progressed into a solid second string, averaging over six points a meeting from the #4 berth, he has the age and backing on his side to go a lot further with the club and internationally. 2011 started as a 3.00 rider and 2012 started as a 3.75 rider. In 2013 he will start his third season a Wolves on 5.79 .... an increase of 2.04 !!!   WOLVERHAMPTON "Parrys International" WOLVES 2013 ...... Possibly ?  8.80 Tai Woffinden .............. start as #1 8.68 Fredrik Lindgren .......... SIGNED 5.79 Ricky Wells DU ............ in talks 5.53 Tyron Proctor DU ......... likely to start at #2 3.15 Pontus Aspgren ........... better at reserve and by the end of the season did really well 31.95  10.55 for the last two places  CONTENDERS; 3.00 Jacob Thorssell ........... Has potential but may be better in the Premier League in 2013 and use him if Pontus is unavailable ..... problem is, would another EL team snap him up wanting a 3.00 rider !! ..... if he stays then club asset, Sebastian Ulamek 7.10 would fit but would think Wolves would much rather have Mads Korneliussen 6.70 or Simon Gustafsson 6.44 if available  5.81 Robert Miskowiak ......... Impressed the club on and off the track while helping the club out last season and already owns a set of team kevlars .... leaves 4.74 for the last place at reserve ?  5.00 New Rider ............. Hopefully Mikkel Michelsen at reserve would be tempted in ... leaving 5.55 for the last place ..... Craig Cook 5.52 ? ... Daniel Nermark 5.37 ?  4.98 Patrick Hougaard .......... As above ! ...... (Struggling and going bacwards at BV and goes well at Wolves .... Maybe a swap loan deal with Nicolai who will be living in Leeds with his girlfriend who is at University there)   OUT; 5.68 Nicolai Klindt ............ struggled in recent times and hopefully will get back on line elsewhere in 2013

For Swindon in 2011, he made some truly brilliant passes. Twice i saw him come from last to first, fantastic stuff. He was however pretty inconsistent on occasions. He would often win his first two rides and look the real deal, but then run a last and maybe a third. But overall, in a struggling side, he showed up well.  It is probably the right time for him to move on to a bigger track. Kings Lynn or Swindon would be ideal. Do wonder wether Dave Parry has any imput in making decisions about the make up of the team.Had threatened to withdraw sponsorship after two hughly disapointing seasons. Without his money and backing over the last twelve years, makes you wonder wether Wolves could have survived. Another failure this time(not getting into the play-offs)maybe one step to far for his income.

Don't know but if someone is to put a considerable amount of money into any business, then I would think that they may have an opinion on how the money could be used. Don't think they make any real input, just a view.  Pleased that they are carrying on as Dave has been linked with the club for over forty years now. shadowfax
I think with the change concerning the assessed averages for new foreigners we're possibly not going to see a newcomer in the team this season , so the 2013 1-7 could look something like this  1 Tai Woffinden 8.80 2 Ricky Wells 5.79 in talks 3 Adam Skornicki 6.57 4 Robert Miskowiak 5.81 5 Freddie Lindgren 8.68 signed 6 Jacob Thorssell 3.00 7 Pontus Aspgren 3.15 41.8  But until teams start signing/releasing more riders & if and when the new assessed averages are published it like doing a jigsaw puzzle without the picture. JCookie
Just as Zmarzlik, Dudek and Michelsen sign their 2013 Wolves contracts the BSPA only go and change the rules on averages. Life is a cruel mistress.
SteveEvans
I think the Swedes at reserve may be a bad idea - the 42,50 limit essentially will give more depth at reserve for the teams. I'm sure they will do better than last year but if the standard his higher they may struggle to improve their average as much as we think. T.N.T.
8.80 TAI WOFFINDEN .............. Had a concern he may not be back for a while but pretty sure he is back an starting at #1.  8.68 FREDRIK LINDGREN ......... Signed and hopefully back to his best  5.79 RICKY WELLS ................. In Talks and likely to be doubling up  5.53 TYRON PROCTOR ......... He may never be the next Jason Crump, but he is a good team man and #2  3.15 PONTUS ASPGREN ......... He progressed well enough in the last half of the seaon to deserve a spot at reserve.   out ...... 5.68 Nicolai Klindt - Injuries din't help and some poor performances saw his average drop by nearly a point out ...... 3.00 Jacob Thorssell - Apart from his away score at Poole, he struggled most matches and needs a year in the PL.    That leaves 10.55 for the last two places ...... If you put Jacob at reserve with Pontus, you would have to be looking at Sebastian Ulamek 7.10 and I cant see that. .... So the last two places have to go to a rider that can score well as a second string and a rider a reserve that could be a match winner but always get at least 4 away.   6.57 Kenni Larsen, 6.57 Adam Skornicki, 6.50 Jason Doyle, 6.44 Simon Gustafsson or 6.25 Edward Kennett 3.97 Ricky Kling or 3.71 Ludvig Lindgren  Gustafsson would be m first choice but think he will stay at Eastbourne and be joined by Edward Kennett. .... Will Larsen be released by Coventry ? ..... Will Poole want Doyle back ? ...... As much as I lik Sqora, I think Larsen or Doyle would be better as Larsen could improve while Doyle is solid an if he misses a meeting you can use Barker, Fisher, Howe, Allen etc etc.  If it is Adam, I'm sure he could do a good job and while he may have the odd off night, you know with Adam he can also have those nights of brilliance too. If he was to return, then he would be the best choice as Captain and ride at #4 for the crucial heat 14's. ..... As for Kling or Lindgren, Ricky usually rides Monmore well and at reserve could be useful while Ludvig could be the same but if Doyle signed it would be unlikely as there would be too many doubling up.   1 - Tai Woffiden 2 - Ty Proctor 3 - Ricky Wells 4 - Adam Skornicki or .......... (see above) 5 - Fredrik Lindgren 6 - Ricky Kling 7 - Pontus Aspgren
