T.N.T.
So after getting an official word on the ruling, a team as up to THREE doubling up riders ..... however instead of sharing the role with another rider, this time if they are missing the only replacement is a PL guest !! Â Â Sounds ok until you look at what COULD happen. Â Â If all three are missing at the same time, a team could .... NOTE... COULD consist of three PL guests and r/r"
Wolfsbane
So TNT, 42.50 it is and your 'superteam' can be accomodated. For once I hope CVS is thinking along the same lines, but, like me, I'll guess you ain't holding your breath. Â FWIW I reckon it'll let him off the hook. 42.50 means he doesn't need to operate outside the box. Use own assets etc. Â I bet when march comes another club has come up with a 'megateam'. stevebrum
And hopefully Tai will be joining Freddie in the side, as expected really.

For once I hope CVS is thinking along the same lines,  You can only use TWO riders from last seasons (2012) top 20 Green Sheet Averages   9.76 Darcy Ward # ............ is it Poole or nowhere !! 9.67 Chris Holder # (Poole) 8.84 Neils K Iversen # (Kings Lynn) 8.80 Tai Woffinden # (Wolves) 8.68 Fredrik Lindgren # (Wolves) 8.61 Peter Karlsson (Lakeside) 8.39 Krzysztof Kasprzak # ........... will he be back ? 8.21 Adrian Meidzinski ........... will he be back ? 8.18 Hans Andersen ( ? ) 8.18 Kenneth Bjerre (Peterborough) 8.06 Davey Watt (Lakeside) 7.94 Troy Batchelor (Swindon) 7.91 Chris Harris (Coventry) 7.87 Linus Sundstrom (Peterborough) 7.82 Scott Nicholls (Coventry) 7.72 Ryan Sullivan ............... will he be back ? 7.56 Joonas Kylmakorpi ........ not riding in England 7.47 Daniel King (Birmingham) 7.35 Bjarne Pedersen ( ? ) 7.33 Rory Schlein ( ? ) ----------------------------- 7.10 Sebastian Ulamek 7.02 Charlie Gjedde   So Wolves cant use Tai, Freddie and Schlein ..... in fact Coventry cant use Harris, Nicholls and Schlein .... but Poole could use Holder and Ward !!   What happens to any rider that wasn't riding here last year like Nicki Pedersen 8.63 .... he isn't in the Top 20 ?    Personally I would now look at something like ..... Woffinden, Lindgren, Bridger, Wells*, Proctor*, Michelsen and Aspgren*. (* D/Up)  Get Jacob Thorssell lined up at a PL club and use him when Pontus is unavailable. If Wells or Proctor are not available, use Auty, Roynon etc
mdmc82
You have missed rico from the top 20. So this means cov could have harris, nicholls & rory. Wont happen though.

Riders not on the list like NP will be slotted in right, left, and centre until the object of a particular promoter's desires miraculously drops to #21 Edited November 19, 2012 by Wolfsbane

BWitcher
Thank the lord. Â 42.50 gives us the opportunity to bring back Skornicki. Bring some balance to the middle order, a calming influence on the team and an inpirational rider who can pull it out of the bag when it really matters... AND bring some entertainment back. BWitcher
I to like Adam but past his best time to move on. Â ?? Based on? Â Even though Adam is a great team man...... I dont think he is worth his current average....... Â On a lower pts limit would have agreed. In this format, a solid, experienced rider in the middle of the team is perfect. He brings a stabilising influence to the team. I still remember talking with Nicolai Klindt at the end of the 2009 season when discussing the team for the following year, he stated how vitally important it was that we had either PK or Adam in the team. Â An older, wiser head, who is Wolves through and through is what the team needs right now in my opinion. Â Also his average is now a little lower after his spell at Belle Vue, around 6.5 I believe which I think is manageable. 6.92 as it was, yes tad high. superguest
I to like Adam but past his best time to move on. Â You say that but what other options are there. Bridger, Gustaffsson, Klindt? Â Adam will do his job at 3, allowing Fred and Tai to get on with their job of winning races. We can't keep hoping Nic or Ty will improve and gamblling on young reserves as well. One or the other IMO. Jacob is a must at reserve IMO, so we need to take advantage of his average and push for a stronger middle order. You need stability. Just as Graham Jones used to in years gone by, Adam would provide that in the heart of the team.  In the meetings I went to last season at Monmore, the place was dead. Lets get some fun and atmosphere back, not only in the team but on the terraces. The two can rub off on each other.  Fred Tai Adam  They're the rock I would build the team around. Ricky Wells, he deserves to be back based upon the progress made last year. It does worry me a tad that he can do so well again, especially in a potentially stronger league and riding the whole year in the main body of the team? However, I think he is worth his place.  That would leave 3 places, as Superguest says, Jacob should be a must as he showed flashes of excellent form and on a low average is a no brainer.  IF TNT's latest hero, Mikkel Michelsen was available he should be snapped up to partner Jacob at reserve. Not sure what that would leave for the remaining spot in the team and whether its a case of slotting Proctor or Klindt in at No 2, or if more pts available looking at someone else.  If Michelsen is a success and Wells has any early season struggles, at least it would mean we should always have a strong reserve all season long, with an improving 2nd reserve in Jacob, something we have been lacking for some time.. even in 2009. superguest
I really can't see any way we could start the season without Skornicki. Either that or we'll end up with a 5 pt reserve! Â Tai, Ricky, Nic, Ty, Fred, Jacob and then 5.02......................... Theres just no rider that really strikes me on that average. Best is prob Patrick Hougaard. Edited November 21, 2012 by superguest

Poole promise them a lot of sponsership, fix their flights and let them have a few meetings off when they feel like it! We are looking for a rider above 6 but below 7 and willing to race over here on a Monday. Skornicki fits the bill and then some!
