T.N.T.
Adam has always upped his game when riding for Wolves ........ true in many ways but lets not forget that his 6.57 average is really from his days at Wolves in 2011 and two meetings for Belle Vue have altere it from 6.92 to 6.57. Before we have bought him back after dropping his average after spending a season on loan and averaging 5+. While I m really looking forward to seeng him don the Old Gold n Black yet again, I do think he will be more of a shield for Ricky Wells who is the one I feel will be taking over as third heat leader during the season. superguest
Adam will be fine! Hes had a full winter to get his bikes together unlike many of his seasons over here. I believe he finished the season without an injury, so for once we may actually get the best out of him! He rises to the challenge every time he has been in the team. I fully expect Freddie to ride better with an older rider in the team, which can only be beneficial to our chances. TBH I'm more worried about Ricky not living up to last year having to ride at 4 to allow Proctor to ride at 2, but is it the best option to line them up that way. Ricky needs to maintain that figure somehow! Ty should put a point back on, mostly bonus' points mind! Jacob and Sam could well be a very strong reserve pairing...look at some of the other line-ups. Both are young but not complete newbies and should be competitive away as well as at home. All we need to worry about now is the true fitness of Freddie after a few awful crashes in the last two years and Ty who has also suffered from the effects of some big knocks - both have ridden on properly to their detriment. And secondly we must try and field Masters, Proctor and Wells as often as possible! Edited January 14, 2013 by superguest
stevebrum
I agree ive said this on elsewhere on this forum, i expect the EL will be tighter this year. I dont think Proctor or Thorsell will improve either and Skornicki is a very poor signing i cant see him averaging over 6 at all. It is all about opinions but i would rather wait until they turn a wheel before i condemn their abilities! Think most wolves fans might agree the jury is out regarding the Skornicki signing, But he loves riding for his parent club so anything is possible.
Starman2006
No idea what you are actually trying to say. If, as it looks, you are saying Masters will only score ten points each week then we have a play off berth looming. Sadly Sam tries to ride his bends motorcross style and not the conventional way. He did this at Somerset but got away with it, only because he was simply far better than the majority in the PL. of which he is still a very good heatleader. At poole he didn't get away with it. He tried to alter this but trying to change his style to the conventional way and keep the gas on at the same time he found this very hard to do!! Unfortunately Ricky Ashworth was just the same when he joined us. Sam is a very tall lanky lad and will always have a problem with A, his style, and B, smaller tracks. He will be a lot more comfortable on the bigger tracks, he seems to ride Coventry well. Sams a nice lad, but come your P&P day he needs as much track time as he can posibly get, and plenty of help from your track specialists in your team... Hope that helps. stevebrum
Unless he changes his style mate thats all he'l be scoring every week. I understand what you are saying regards his track craft abililty. I haven't watched him enough to comment on that so i have to believe what you are saying. That said, did you make a mistake by saying he will ONLY score 10 every home meeting?? Because even Poole would have been delighted if he scored that week in week out! Because even Poole would have been delighted if he scored that week in week out! He certainly won't be scoring 10. But as for my other comment, wait and see... Sam has the abillity to be quite useful, but he's going to need hours and hours of track time and practice to alter that style. Riding in the PL is going to help him, he is a heatleader as ive said, so he eventually will have plenty of time to practice altering his style as he is still a far better rider than the majority in the PL. BWitcher
Unless he changes his style mate thats all he'l be scoring every week. Let's hope he doesn't change his style then. If he is scoring paid 12 from 5 every week, we'll be up near the top of the league. He certainly won't be scoring 10. Well he already has. A point that seems to have completely and utterly passed you by. I repeat, his last meeting at Monmore he scored 10+2 from 5 rides. Understand now? Woffinden may well be the key figure on the advice front, given their friendship. So I don't think track tips will be an issue. Height of riders per se I don't see as a problem providing their basic technique and ability to turn tightly is sound. We'll just have to see on that one. TesarRacing
I agree ive said this on elsewhere on this forum, i expect the EL will be tighter this year. Does that mean the BSPA have got things right then following the AGM, in terms of team building and team strengths?
Woz01
Does that mean the BSPA have got things right then following the AGM, in terms of team building and team strengths? Points limit was certainly right and it helps not having assessed foreign riders making a mockery of a low average. Obviously need to sort out the issue of assets and im not 100% sure the new doubling up rule will be successful.

T.N.T.
With the riders we have, the line up ahould be pretty easy to see which way they will line up. 1 - Tai ... 2 - Ty ... 3 - Adam ... 4 - Ricky ... 5 - Fred ... 6 - Sam ... 7 - Jacob However I think it may be better served by putting Freddie at #3 and Adam at #5 so that in Tai / Ty and Fred / Ricky we have two pairings more likely to gain heat advantages and hope Adam can help Sam and Jacob in the other races. 1 - Tai Woffinden 2 - Ty Proctor 3 - Fredrik Lindgren 4 - Ricky Wells 5 - Adam Skornicki © 6 - Sam Masters 7 - Jacob Thorssell
