stevebrum
?? Based on? Probably the same reason you use regards Howe or Klindt. Adam another rider who is no better than second string. That aside - Adam indeed would help bring the fun factor back to Wolves as he is our natural showman. One caution to that is he doesnt appear to have ridden all that much the past 2 seasons and i wonder how fit and hungry he is to at least maintain , at around six and a half, his current average. Adam is very special in most Wolves fans hearts so i am sure he would be a popular signing - but would we get more from Nicolai on a lower average? They both have very good rides and below par ones, but Adam doesn't fall off or look so uncomfortable at Monmore. Having said that, both can be fitted in alongside Fred, Tai and Ricky as a top 5. Agreed we can fit both in. However i think we might need another rider above Adam just in case he struggles, which i guess means only one of Adam or Nicolai. Hopefully we will find out more news at the talk in!

Due to the rules next year, we can't sign anyone else inside the top 20 averages, so the only riders above Adam or around the same average are Jepsen Jensen, Larsen or Kennett. No chance of getting MJJ or Larsen, would Kennett be any better? Edited November 21, 2012 by superguest

T.N.T.
In many ways I agree about Adam (6.57) as he is a hero on and off the track, wins races when you need him too and is a steady rock in the team that again will be quite young and the perfect person to be captain ..... if he is included. HOWEVER .... As much as I like Adam, I think there MAY be better options available on the same average. Simon Gustafsson 6.44 would be my first choice but with Kylmakorpi and Bridger moving out of Eastbourne, its unlikely they will want him to move on aswell. Then there is Kenni Larsen 6.57 at Coventry. Many of the Bees fans were not too pleased with his scores last year and with Bees rebuilding, will he be loaned out for a season ? I would think he is more likely to be named in the Bees line up, but with Roynon, Summers and Szcepaniak already named, they wont have enough room for Harris, Nicholls, Barker and Kenni. Mads Korneliussen 6.70 is another that could be an ideal back up man. Still young and has shown up well at Monmore a number of times and good on the big tracks too. Will he be back at Kings Lynn or return to parent club, Swindon. Also did well at Peterborough in the past so if he is available there could be a few willing to sign him. 8.80 Tai Woffinden, 8.68 Fredrik Lindgren and 5.79 Ricky Wells are all but certain to be in the top five, leaving 19.23 for the remaing four places. Pontus Aspgren 3.15 was getting better and better as the 2012 season came to an end and at reserve could be a trump card. Jacob Thorssell 3.00 started as a novice but like Pontus he got better and better, but is he ready for a full time EL place ? ...... At least one of them will be back at reserve, so if its Pontus to return, it leaves 16.08 for three places. Add Jacob and its 13.08 for two places ...... but if they went for a balanced team with a strong reserve, you could fit in Kli ndt 5.61 and Proctor 5.53 into the main body of the team and have 4.94 left for a stronger reserve or use Skornicki and Klindt 5.61 or Proctor 5.53 and bring back Ludvig Lindgren 3.74 who at reserve would be an ideal partner for Pontus or Jacob .... if its Jacob at #7 you can add Miskowiak to possible signings alongside Adam. 1 = Adam, Miskowiak, Ludvig (res) and Jacob (res) 2 = Adam, Klindt/Proctor, Ludvig (res) and Pontus (res) 3 = Klindt, Proctor, Hougaard (res) and Jacob (res) 4 = Larsen, Gustafsson, Aspgren (res) and Jacob (res) ....... best 1-7 but unlikely

superguest
Cheers, unfortunately Michelsen won't be on a 4 Have we any proof yet that hes going to sign? Obviously it would be a real coup but its still just rumours? why wouldnt he be a 4.00pter? Really our strongest team on paper and most likely is.. Tai Ricky Nicolai Sqora Freddie Jacob or Pontus Jorgensen Pontus and Jacob both showed glimpes of their talent but I'd not like to risk both at reserve. BWitcher
Why on earth would we have Klindt and Proctor again? So what did Proctor do wrong last season exactly? Increased his average and did his job. It was NOT his fault that other members of the team didn't perform. Namely Lindgren, Klindt and the reserves. Woffinden, Proctor and Wells all did fine. The argument for Klindt's return is he is sitting on an average which he can increase with ease by a pt, especially riding in a less pressurised position. However, a change of track may well be better for him to rebuild confidence. It beggers belief why we would want to consider a cheat and a complete gating tart ahead of a Wolves man through and through, who rides willingly through the pain barrier for the club, pulls match winning/league title winning rides out of the bag when it matters, brings fun and an atmosphere to the team and the fans and inspires and has the full respect of every single one of his team mates.

T.N.T.
MIKKEL MICHELSEN ..... I have no inside information or proof that he is a possible starter for Wolves in 2013. It's just his name came up a few times during the season (and last) and CVS and Pete Adams have stated before that they have a couple of riders signed up but wouldn't say who. ...... There are a few that have a feeling he is one of these. .... If he is no longer a 4.00 rider, it could be difficult to fit him in, but even on a 5.00 I would take the chance if we can.
